In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Daanish Gandhi spoke about his childhood memories when he visited Ajay Devgn’s film set. Revealing why he got scared and started crying, Daanish shared:
“Back then there was no Computer-Generated Imagery (CGI) and all. I have seen them jumping on glasses, doing stunts, and hanging from cables. They have broken bones because it was raw action. Yes. They had to jump from the second floor. There was nothing as a safety net but only cardboard boxes. It was scary. I have cried on sets as a kid, thinking what would happen.”
Ajay’s sister, Neelam, shares a warm bond with her bhabhi, Kajol, and the actress’ social media page is filled with unmissable glimpses with Neelam. When Neelam turned a year older on June 7, 2023, Kajol took to her IG handle and posted a selfie with her, in which the two were seen dressed in traditional attires. Kajol and Ajay Devgn’s love story is quite unusual. When they started dating, Kajol was one of the top-notch actresses of the 90s, and he was a less successful actor. Her decision to get married to Ajay came as a surprise to her fans, friends, and even her family. Critics labeled them an ‘unlikely pair,’ and many commented that they would not last long because of their contrasting personalities.
On Neha Dhupia’s chat show, No Filter Neha, Kajol opened up about her marriage and how, besides both their parents, nobody else had wanted both of them to get married. Talking about the same, she mentioned that even her father was a little skeptical about her getting married to Ajay. She had revealed how her father had enquired why she would want to get married at such a young age and at the peak of her career, to which she had replied that she was in love with Ajay and had wanted to settle down.
Ajay Devgn shares an emotional bond with his sister, and with time, it has only become stronger. He has been her pillar of strength after the death of their father, Veeru Devgan.
