Ajay Devgn is the son of late action choreographer, Veeru Devgan, who has been entertaining the fans for the last three decades with films like Singham, Azaad, Raid, Ishq, Tanhaji, Dishyam, Son Of Sardaar and more. Now, the family legacy is all set to extend as Ajay Devgn's son, Yug, has stepped into showbiz. At the tender age of 14, Yug has become another star kid to enter the entertainment world, but not on the screen yet. Instead, he has lent his voice to the Hindi version of the upcoming Hollywood film, Karate Kid: Legends alongside his father, Ajay Devgn. Before the film's release, Yug joined his father for a press meet, and the little one's special take on his father's iconic film, Sigham, left everyone stunned.

Ajay Devgn reveals if his son, Yug, will become the next Singham 

Ajay Devgn and his son, Yug, recently attended a press meet in the city to promote the upcoming Hollywood film, Karate Kid: Legends. They have lent their voices for its Hindi version and fans are excited to know more about Ajay and Kajol's son. During the event, Yug was requested to recite his popular Hindi dialogue from the film, which is linked to his father's iconic character, 'Singham'. In his turn, Yug impressed fans and said:

“Yaar Ek Hi Din Mein Singham Banaoge.”

Yug's dialogue left everyone in splits, and the host of the event asked Ajay if Yug had already become 'Singham' or was in the process of it. In his reply, Ajay won hearts and replied that no one can make anyone 'Singham'. Instead, it's just God who can give such an important opportunity to someone. In his words:

“Singham koi kisi koi nahi banata, Singham Banane wala ek hi hai. (God)”

Ajay Devgn shares his views on Yug's work in Karate Kid: Legends

In the same event, Ajay Devgn shared that he was proud of his son, Yug Devgan's work in Karate Kid: Legends. For those unaware, Ajay has dubbed for 'Chan', whereas Yug has lent his voice to Wang's character. He shared that when Yug started dubbing, the film's team informed him they were using some from his rehearsals. Sharing how Yug excitedly shared his work with him, Ajay said:

"He took permission from the technicians and said to them, 'Can I make my father hear what I've dubbed on a WhatsApp call?' I felt so nice. He has dubbed very naturally. It sounds very real."

Karate Kid: Legends is a 2025 American martial arts film directed by Jonathan Entwistle. It is the sixth film in the Karate Kid franchise started back in 1984. It stars Jackie Chan, Ben Wang, Ralph Macchio, Joshua Jackson, Sadie Stanley and more in the lead roles. The film premiered in Mexico City on May 8, 2025, and is scheduled to be released in the United States, India and Canada on May 30.
