Taking to Twitter, Ajay shared the sad news and wrote, "I lost my brother Anil Devgan last night. His untimely demise has left our family heartbroken. ADFF & I will miss his presence dearly. Pray for his soul. Due to the pandemic, we will not have a personal prayer meet." Ajay's Bol Bachchan co-star, Abhishek Bachchan was also heartbroken to hear it, and he send across warm regards to the Devgn family.

Last year, on May 27, 2019, Ajay Devgan had lost his father, Veeru Devgan, who was a stunt director. He was the man behind the actions sequences in most of the hit Bollywood films. The late legendary stunt director had hailed from Amritsar, Punjab and had come to the city of dreams to become an actor, but instead, he got fame for his action sequences.

We remember how once in a media interaction, Veeru ji had stated that he had lived his dream of becoming an actor through his son, Ajay Devgan. It was in the year 1957 when Veeru ji had taken the decision of entering the film industry and he came to the dream city in the hope of becoming an actor. But he was not able to make it to the big screens as he didn't have the chocolate face which was trending at that time. And he had taken the vow of making his first son a hero, "After seeing my face in the mirror, I felt I was much inferior to the other strugglers. So I gave up. But I took a vow then that my first son born would become a hero." (Also Read: Rhea Chakraborty And Her Brother, Showik Chakraborty Will Remain In Jail Till This Extended Date)

In the same interview, Veeru ji had further shared his experience of becoming a stuntman, and had revealed, "I have played a stuntman for almost every hero, be it Dilip Kumar, Dharmendra, Vinod Khanna, Rajesh Khanna or Jeetendra. Death hovers over a stuntman constantly. I have escaped narrowly so many times that I have stopped giving importance to such problems." (Don't Miss: Bella Gets Possessive About Preggy Mom, Teejay, Doesn't Approve Daddy, Karanvir Kissing Her [Video])
