The couple can be seen enjoying their time on a luxurious yacht. In the beginning, both Shalini and Ajith kept their brewing romance away from the eyes of everyone. The couple used to interact on phone calls with code names so that their family members or close ones couldn’t understand what was cooking between them. However, after the film was over and released in theatres, Ajith and Shalini told their parents about their decision to marry each other.

The two families agreed, and it was in 2000 when Ajith Kumar and Shalini got married in a lavish wedding setup. From Rajinikanth to all the A-listed celebrities were invited to the wedding. After their wedding, on January 3, 2008, Ajith and Shalini embraced parenthood for the first time. The couple welcomed a baby girl and named her Anoushka. After some years, the baby girl was promoted to big sister as Shalini and Ajith welcomed their second baby, a baby boy, Aadvik. Since then, they’ve been giving everyone pure family goals with how they lead their happy married life with their kids.
