The bold and beautiful Akanksha Puri is currently one of the contestants in the Bigg Boss OTT 2 along with Abhishek Malhan, Akanksha Puri, Manisha Rani, Jad Hadid, Aaliya Siddiqui, Palak Purswani, Pooja Bhatt and many others. For the unversed, Akanksha won the reality show, Swayamvar- Mika Di Vohti, after Mika Singh chose him as his bride-to-be. However, later, she disclosed that they wouldn't get married anytime in the future. Now, once again, she is hitting the headlines as one of the videos of Bigg Boss OTT 2 house went viral, wherein Jad Hadid was inappropriately touching her.
In a video from inside the Bigg Boss OTT 2 house, we can spot Akanksha Puri involved in a conversation with Dubai-based model, Jad Hadid. Both the contestants were seen twinning in black ensembles. Coming back to their conversation, we can spot Jad holding Akanksha's hand and pulling her close to himself while talking. Soon, to avoid the closeness, the gorgeousness turned around and clearly told him, "Don't do that." However, Jad soon asked her, "Why?" To this, Akanksha said, "I don't know. I don't like touches so much", and made a unique gesture with her hand.

As soon as the video was shared on social media, Akanksha Puri's fans strongly reacted towards Jad Hadid's actions and trolled him. One netizen commented, "Yes, how can you touch someone like that without their permission? Jad toh Akanksha k peeche kuch zyada hi pagal h in fact he's flirting with everyone." Another user mentioned, "He even said 'I like your underwear btw' in the live stream to her. I don't know if anyone noticed this. That's crossing the line." For quite some days, rumours were also rife in the media claiming Akanksha Puri was in a relationship with Bigg Boss fame, Shiv Thakare. Their fans were also quite excited about the same. However, in a recent interview with India Forums, Akanksha addressed the ongoing rumours of her being in a steady relationship with Shiv. She clearly stated that she isn’t dating Shiv at the moment. The actress admitted that when she had heard for the first time that rumours of her and Shiv dating each other were floating in the media corridors, and laughed it out. Revealing the reason behind it, Akanksha lauded Shiv and said he is a nice guy. She also called him a ‘sweetheart’ and added that, unfortunately, she doesn’t get the good guys.

Even though Akanksha won the show, Swayamvar- Mika Di Vohti, she didn't marry Mika Singh. Thus, some people were genuinely confused about it and curious to know if they were legally married. To clear the confusion, once in an interview with the ETimes, Akanksha admitted that she and Mika have been close friends for years, and they will continue it. The actress also added that she and Mika aren’t bothered by people’s opinions. Instead, they focus on their professional front and take their friendship forward.
