Bollywood's most adored couple, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have embarked on a new chapter of their lives by tying the knot with each other on April 14, 2022. Social media is flooded with the pictures of the lovebirds from their whimsical wedding, and their fans are super ecstatic to see their favourite couple start their forever journey with each other.
Ranbir and Alia's wedding was a star-studded affair, and Mukesh Ambani's son, Akash Ambani and his wife, Shloka Mehta had also attended his best friend's wedding. For the ceremony, Akash had donned a baby pink-coloured sherwani. On the other hand, Shloka had twinned with him and had opted for a minimal look. They had arrived at Ranbir's home, Vaastu with high security and had made heads turn.

On April 14, 2022, Anissa Jain dropped two unseen pictures from Ranbir and Alia's wedding on her IG handle. The first picture featured the entire Kapoor clan posing for a family picture with the newlyweds, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor and it exuded royalty. In the other picture, we can see Ranbir's best friend, Akash Ambani along with his wife, Shloka Mehta posing with Ranbir Kapoor and Anissa Jain at the fun-filled event. Sharing the pictures, Anissa penned:
"Fam."
According to a report in India Today, it was stated that Ranbir Kapoor personally went and invited his close friends, Akash Ambani and Shloka Ambani to his wedding with Alia Bhatt. The report also revealed that Akash Ambani had cancelled his international trip to attend the wedding. For the unversed, Ranbir had also attended Akash and Shloka's wedding and pre-wedding festivities.

Earlier, a report in the Bombay Times had revealed that Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor have taken a week-long break from their work for their post-wedding ceremonies. The reports had mentioned that as a Punjabi bahu, Alia needs to be part of a lot of ceremonies, including chauka chardna rasam, 4-day long puja and Satya Narayan path. The report had also added that Alia's saasu maa, Neetu Kapoor is very particular about all the rituals and is super excited to welcome Alia to their family.
