Akash Ambani Looks Scared As Hardik Pandya Launches The Dog Robot On Him, Laughs Out Loud

The IPL 2025 is full of fun and masti with new cricketers getting chance to show their talent. However, it is the off-ground fun moments that has been keeping the audiences hooked. Also, this year's IPL got more interesting as it has a four-legged AI-powered robotic dog. The videos of the robotic dog have been going viral, leaving both players and cricket enthusiasts in awe.

Hardik Pandya almost hits Akash Ambani with the robotic dog

An adorable high-tech pup made its debut in the IPL 2025 season, transforming the field into a high-tech experience. Recently, we came across a cute video from the match between the Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings at the Wankhede Stadium. In the clip, Hardik was seen in conversation wit hMI's owner Akash Ambani. The cricketer was seen checking out the remote of the IPL robot dog to see how it works. 

On the other hand, Akash Ambani was seen instructing him on how to operate the robot, which was controlled remotely. However, Hardik accidentally launched the dog at Akash Ambani, who was left startled and he quickly jumped back to save him. Pandya bursted out laughing and playfully teased Akash Ambani.

Not only that, but the dog later waved at Akash, and it was a wholesome moment. For those who don't know, the robotic dog's name is Champak, and it can respond to several voice commands and even draw a heart-shaped with its front limbs. The official website of the Olympics mention that the dog can even run and jump on command. On April 13, 2025, Champak was first introduced by New Zealand cricketer and commentator, Danny Morrison during the IPL match between the Mumbai Indians and the Delhi Capitals. The robotic dog's introduction was:

"t can walk, it can run, it can greet, but most importantly, this is pet vision."

As soon as the video surfaced on the internet, netizens reacted. One user wrote, "Men see men smile men happy We are this simple. Just give us a remote toy and we are happy." Another one commented, "Peak male happiness." A third person penned, "Men and their obsession with remote controlled toys Men will be Men."

When Akash Ambani's fans threw phones at him for selfies

During the IPL 2024, a bunch of fans requested a selfie with Akash Ambani; the latter happily obliged and asked the person to give him his phone. While he was trying to catch the phone, another fan threw his phone at him, which could have hit the ace businessman. Akash quickly reacted, "Kya kar rahe ho?" Despite feeling a little irritated, he clicked the selfie and gave the phone back to the fan.

Akash Ambani is happily married to Shloka Mehta, who is his childhood sweetheart. They tied the knot in a grand wedding in March 2019, and later, they got blessed with two adorable kids, a boy, Prithvi Ambani and a girl, Veda.
