According to a report in Money Control, Akshay Kumar recently bought an apartment for a whopping amount of Rs. 7.8 crores in the Khar suburb of Mumbai. This swanky apartment is the latest addition to his list of luxurious properties in Mumbai, including the sea-facing duplex, where he lives with his wife, Twinkle Khanna and their children, Aarav and Nitara. Other than that, the actor also owns houses in Goa, Canada and Mauritius.
Citing the documents accessed by Zapkey.com, the report further stated that Akshay's new flat is spread over an area of 1,878 square feet. Located on the 19th floor of a building named Joy Legend, the lavish apartment has four car parking spaces. It was also mentioned that Akshay had bought this property from Joy Builders, and it was registered on January 7, 2022.

On Joy Legend's official website, it is said that the building has ultra-modern 3 and 4 BHK luxury residences. However, it is not known whether Akshay’s apartment has three bedrooms or four. On January 17, 2022, Twinkle Khanna and Akshay Kumar had completed 21 years of togetherness. To celebrate the occasion, the actress-turned-author had shared a hilarious conversation on her IG handle, which she had had with her actor-husband. In the picture, Akshay and Twinkle could be seen having a conversation over the breakfast table. Along with it, Twinkle had penned how they were wondering if they would have interacted in the present year, keeping their contrasting personalities in mind. Sharing the savage reply from Akshay, Twinkle had captioned her anniversary post as:
“On our 21st anniversary, we have a chat. Me: You know, we are so different that if we met at a party today, I don’t know if I would even talk to you. Him: I would definitely talk to you.
