Twinkle Khanna is one of the lovely actresses of her time. She left behind her acting career and became a prolific writer. Every now and then, Twinkle keeps flaunting her witty self by penning down hilarious writeups. In her personal life, she is married to Bollywood acrtor, Akshay Kumar, and together, they are blessed with two wonderful kids, Aarav and Nitara. But now, a Reddit user dug out stories about one of Twinkle's incidents, which allegedly turned into a brawl between Akshay and Salman Khan.
Twinkle Khanna and Salman Khan co-worked in the romantic film, Jab Pyaar Kisi Se Hota Hai, and it seemed there was a bonding between the two of them right from then. Thus, when the two of them met at Boney Kapoor's son, Arjun Kapoor's birthday party, the actress-turned-writer seemed to be quite friendly with Salman. A report claimed that Twinkle had become highly drunk at that moment, and she was seen throwing on Salman. And this had angered Akshay Kumar, resulting in a brawl between him and Salman. However, now a Reddit user, who indirectly claimed to be an insider, mentioned that although Twinkle became drunk and threw on Salman, Akshay didn't have any brawl with Salman.

Soon after the post surfaced online, netizens started commenting whether there was any strangled moment between Akshay and Salman post Twinkle got drunk and threw herself on the latter. One user penned, "Twinkle Khanna called him a bhai on KWK and said he gave her brotherly vibes. Even picked SRK over him in that lol." In reply, another user commented, "Of course she would, because Salman ignored her completely." However, one more user mentioned, "Don’t think akshay has the spine to stand up to Selmon the criminal."

Earlier, in the year 2016, Twinkle had taken an alleged dig at Salman's singlehood. She wrote a blog for the Times of India with the headline, "10 wackiest classifieds you missed this year" and she also mentioned of Salman Khan in one of the parts of it. She remarked about finding a bride for ‘India’s oldest but most eligible bachelors’, and indirectly wrote about Salman. Soon, she got huge criticism from Salman's fans. An excerpt from Twinkle's blog could be read as:
"Alliance Wanted For One Of India’s Oldest But Most Eligible Bachelors: Dashing, non-vegetarian, successful and muscular Khandani boy. Excellent in dance, drama and art. Afterwards, Twinkle again took a dig at Salman Khan even more subtly. She had tweeted, “I write social, political satire-will not examine an ant & spare an elephant because I fear getting trampled by the herd #TrollProof #CarryOn.” Not only that, following this, she made another post, wherein she was seen strangling Salman. The picture was taken from one of the scenes of their film, Jab Pyaar Kisi Se Hota Hai. Sharing the photo, she wrote a note to take a dig at Salman's fans. Her note could be read as:
“To all the Bhai fans ‘Merry Christmas’ #TrollProof.”
