Vashu Bhagnani and his son, Jackky Bhagnani's Pooja Entertainment are making the headlines for quite some time now. The production house has seen a number of hits in the earlier years, including Coolie No 1, Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai, Hero No 1 and others. However, since a few days, multiple reports about the production house being bankrupt and more than 100 employees not getting their salaries have surfaced on the internet. Recently, FWICE's President, BN Tiwari also made claims that Vashu owes a huge sum of money to the crews of Mision Raniganj, Ganapath and Bade Miyan Chote Miyan.
Following this, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan fame, Akshay Kumar revealed that his payment should be put on a hold for a valid reason. And this revealed Akshay's humble nature. Extremely delighted with the same, Jackky Bhagnani released a new statement about the same. He mentioned that soon after understanding the situation regarding the non-payment of dues to the film's cast and crew, Akshay requested that his payment be put on hold. Jackky said:

"Akshay sir met me recently to discuss this matter. Upon learning about this situation, Akshay sir didn't hesitate to step forward and show his support for the crew. He has insisted that his payments be placed on hold until every single cast and crew member working on our projects receive their full and final payment."

Further, in the same statement, Jackky revealed that he and the members of the entire production house is extremely grateful towards Akshay for his humble behaviour. He added that the film business is completely based on strong relationships, and Akshay's decision to be with them simply amazed everyone. Jackky added:
"We are incredibly grateful for Akshay sir’s understanding and his willingness to stand with us during this time. The movie business hinges on strong relationships and that is the spirit we strive to foster at Pooja Entertainment."
On June 28, 2024, Federation of Western India Cine Employees' President, BN Tiwari claimed that Vashu Bhagnani and his production house owes a hefty sum of Rs. 65 lahk to crew members who worked on the films, including Mission Raniganj, Ganapath and Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. FWICE also clarified that Pooja Entertainment owes Rs. 33.13 lakh to Tinu Desai, who directed their 2023 film, Mission Raniganj, which starred Akshay Kumar as the main lead. In addition, Pooja Entertainment owes Rs 31.78 lakh to the workers, who worked on those three films.
