Actor turned writer, Twinkle Khanna is riding high on the professional front, and she is all set to start a new chapter in her life. She is well known for her witty nature and sense of humour, and over the years, she has made a name for herself in the world of writing. Twinkle has proved her mettle in writing with some of the bestselling books, including Mrs Funnybones, Pyjamas Are Forgiving and The Legend of Lakshmi Prasad.
On the personal front, Twinkle Khanna tied the knot with actor, Akshay Kumar, and the couple is blessed with two kids, Aarav Bhatia and Nitara Bhatia. Together, Akshay and Twinkle form a great couple, setting new goals every day. The couple is married for almost 21 years, and still manage to win our hearts with their cutesy camaraderie. Needless to say, Akshay and Twinkle are couple goals.

As per a report in Pinkvilla, it is being stated that just before his 55th birthday, Akshay Kumar would jet off to London for a break with his wife, Twinkle Khanna, and their kids, Aarav and Nitara. However, a source close to the couple also revealed that the trip has another purpose also. He shared that Twinkle has enrolled herself in a Masters degree in fictional writing at the prestigious Goldsmiths, University of London. The source was quoted as saying:
“August end to September is the period of holiday for Akshay, as he prefers to spend some time with his family around the time of his birthday. This year is special as Akshay turns 55. He is off to London today. He is accompanied by wife, Twinkle Khanna and two kids, Aarav and Nitara. While Akshay will be back to India, Twinkle will be staying back to complete the course.”
Reportedly, being a workoholic, Akshay Kumar would dive into his film commitments right after his return. When Akshay was probed on his holiday plans and enquired if the reports were true, the actor quipped:
“Parents go to drop their kids off to universities abroad. I am going to drop my wife, she is doing a course in fictional writing.”

Earlier, in a conversation on her platform, Tweak India, Twinkle Khanna had talked about the importance of being financially independent and revealed that she has never had a joint bank account since she got married. She also shared that she pays for her kids, Aarav and Nitara's education herself and added that she wants her kids to feel proud of it. In her words:
“Never, not from the day I got married. It’s always been separate. So I’m using, what would have been my daughters college fund, to fund myself. I’ve always made sure that I’m the one paying for their education. I want them to say that my mother paid for my education, and not just fed me aloo parathas.”
On the work front, Akshay Kumar will be next seen in the film, Ram Setu.
