She shared that within two hours after their marriage, People magazine published the dreamy pictures from the ceremony. She mentioned that the images were nice. Shannon expressed that it doesn’t affect her, as time healed everything. She was quoted as saying:

"You guys, they got married and it was in People magazine two hours later, so priorities? I looked at the photos. It looked pretty. I don’t care. Time heals everything — and it makes you see more clearly."

Their 'whimsical, rustic chic' marriage ceremony was attended by 140 guests, including RHOC stars, Tamra Judge, Jo De La Rosa, Heather Amin, and McBee Dynasty’s Galyna Saltkovska. For the uninitiated, the couple met through a mutual friend at The Quiet Woman restaurant and got engaged in August 2024 after nine months of dating.

The wedding took place at a venue that Alexis described as a 'secret garden by the ocean,' decorated in 'soft whites, dusty rose, and greenery.' Alexis dazzled in three bridal looks, including a sparkling jewelled gown. As per a report by People, the designer took six months to complete the custom gown. The guests enjoyed a gourmet taco bar, seafood, and a four-tiered cake, along with live music and other fun-filled activities. Speaking to People, Alexis said:

"This wedding was absolutely a dream come true. Emotional, joyful, sacred, and so us. Truly the most magical day of our lives."

Earlier, in a 2023 interview with E! News, Shannon broke her silence over Alexis and John’s relationship. Shannon, who was John's ex-girlfriend, shared that she was totally heartbroken at first. She mentioned the reason behind her extreme sadness. In her words:

"I'm not going to lie, I've been hurt. I've been hurt a lot in the last couple of weeks because, No. 1, John said that he didn't want to be in the public eye, and he's thrust himself more into the public eye at this point. So, I'm quite confused about that. I don't know how to process it."
