Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha are on cloud nine as they have been acing parenting duties together post the arrival of their baby girl. Richa and Ali got married in 2020 during the lockdown and welcomed their daughter in July 2024. Since the birth of their daughter, the couple has made sure to guard her from the media.
In a recent interview with Vogue India, Ali and Richa spoke about their daughter and how their life changed after the birth of their daughter. They also revealed that they have named their daughter Zuneyra Ida Fazal.

In the same interaction, Ali revealed that he gets anxious whenever she leaves home for work. Stating how he wishes to be around his daughter and Richa, the actor shared:
“Having a baby fills a void that you weren't even aware existed. That part never ceases to amaze me. It's freakin' hard to work now. I have serious anxiety when I leave home because I just want to see my baby Zuneyra all the time and be around Richa and her.”
Going forward in the conversation, Richa spoke about postpartum and revealed how she tells people not to take her seriously whenever she feels moody. In her words:
“Few discuss the challenges that come with postpartum. It’s tough to decipher your own thoughts in that space because none of it is psychological, it’s all biological. Your hormones are constantly fluctuating, leaving you to wonder why you feel a certain way. When I feel moody, I remind people not to take me too seriously and tell myself the same. I focus on the basics: getting some sunlight, basic nutrition and working out. That bit of exercise is important because your dopamine receptors can get screwed post-delivery and skew your natural responses to things.”
It was on July 20, 2024, when Richa and Ali took to their respective IG handles and shared a collaborative post to drop the first glimpse of their baby girl. In the picture, we could only see their newborn daughter's tiny feet. The little one was seen wrapped in a printed swaddle. Along with it, the doting parents mentioned that their baby is the biggest collab of their lives and added:
"Doing a collab post to announce the biggest collab of our lives!! We’ve been blessed indeed. Our baby girl continues to keep us very very busy. So, thank you all for your love and blessings."
