Alia Bhatt Reveals She Became A Whole 'New Person' After Giving Birth To Raha, 'My Heart Is At Home'

Alia Bhatt has been slaying it at Cannes with her gorgeous looks. The diva, who began her career as an actress, never really looked back after her debut and continued to soar high and venture into new fields. Well, the best role in her real life has been being a mom to her little princess, Raha Kapoor. Alia got married to Ranbir in 2022, and in the same year, they became parents to their baby girl. Time and again, Alia revealed how being a mom has changed her as a person, and she again talked about the same while being at Cannes.

Alia Bhatt recently sat for an interview with Brut, wherein she was asked how being a mom has influenced her choice of roles in the movies and changed her perspective on her career. To this, Alia gave an adorable reply and revealed that she is not sure about exactly how it changes the vision, but there remains a lot of empathy, which gets boosted up after becoming a mom, and it just feels that the heart just wides open.

Alia said that she isn't sure about how she changed post being a mom and how it influences her choice of roles in the movies, but a certain type of sensitivity works after someone gives birth to a little being, and that would only make that person see things through a different lens, a more sensitive one. She further stated that after being a mom, she transformed into a new person, and that only changed her perspective. Alia mentioned that she is not the same person anymore as she used to be, and it itself has changed her entire perspective as she now thinks like a mom.

When Alia Bhatt was asked to give an example of what changes she has felt in herself after giving birth to Raha, the actress said that it can't be described in words, but she can now have silent conversations with new moms, without needing proper words, but still she would be able to understand what that person is feeling exactly.

Alia Bhatt, in the same conversation, stated that people often say that being a mom is like someone just taking that person's heart and putting it out there, and it's kind of like that. She mentioned that initially, the feelings are very isolating as the moms spend their entire time nurturing their little ones. Alia said that she has this feeling that she is never alone and always thinks about her daughter. As she is in Cannes, Alia said that her heart is now at home since her little one is at home.

Alia Bhatt stated that being a mom evolves someone to the outward level, and that person can feel other's emotions even more deeply, thinking, what if her kid goes to the same thing? Alia mentioned that while she was a kid, her mom used to read newspapers and cry if there was some bad news, and other days she would feel happy and proud with some good piece of news. Alia revealed that back then, she didn't get the reason, but as she is a mom now, she knows exactly what her mom felt.
