On July 20, 2022, Alia Bhatt was spotted in the city as she had stepped out with her best friend, Ranveer Singh for the shooting of their upcoming film, Rocky Aur Raani Ki Prem Kahani. On July 25, 2022, Alia Bhatt graced the trailer launch event of her upcoming movie, Darlings. The mommy-to-be looked gorgeous in a sunshine yellow dress with a necktie detailing. Alia flaunted her pregnancy glow but her baby bump was not visible as she opted for a sleeveless balloon outfit. She completed her look with a messy ponytail and subte makeup. However, what caught everyone's attention was that Alia had called the film's release date as 'Kapoor Day'. Her caption could be read as:
"It's Kapoor Day! Shamshera in theatres now!!! Go watch."
