Social media is abuzz with the unseen pictures of Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor's wedding, and we can't stop gushing over them!
On April 14, 2022, the new bride, Alia Bhatt had shared a series of pictures from her white wedding with her hubby, Ranbir Kapoor. In the pictures, the newlyweds were seen twinning in white ensembles, and it speaks volumes about their love for each other. Alia had opted for an ivory-hued saree from the designer, Sabyasachi Mukherjee and had accessorised her look with a heavy choker neckpiece, matching earrings and a mathapatti. Sharing the pictures, Alia had penned:
"Today, surrounded by our family and friends, at home … in our favourite spot - the balcony we’ve spent the last 5 years of our relationship - we got married. With so much already behind us, we can’t wait to build more memories together … memories that are full of love, laughter, comfortable silences, movie nights, silly fights, wine delights and Chinese bites. Thank you for all the love and light during this very momentous time in our lives. It has made this moment all the more special. Love."

In a conversation with India Today, Alia Bhatt’s brother, Rahul Bhatt revealed that the much-in-love couple took 4 pheras instead of 7 at their wedding. He also talked about the significance of it and shared that they had a special pandit, who has been associated with the Kapoors for a long time. Adding that he was sitting with Alia and Ranbir when the pheras took place and said:
“So he explained the significance of each phera. Ek hota hain dharm ke liye, ek hota hain santaan ke liye, so it was really fascinating. We have not been exposed to this. I come from a household of multiple ethnicities. So, that was fascinating. There were not 7 pheras but 4 pheras for the record. And I was during all the 4 pheras."
After much wait and excitement, a beautiful video from Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt's wedding had made its way on social media. The video showed the lovebirds taking pheras in the presence of their near and dear ones. The entire area at the RK's Vastu home was seen decorated with yellow dreamy lights, and the moment had looked super romantic. Check it out below:
