Alia shares a beautiful bond with her daddy, Mahesh Bhatt. However, he wasn't there with her when she was growing up. In an interview with Komal Nahta, Alia had opened up on her father's absence during her childhood. She had shared that her father was always like a celebrity, who would walk into the house. And she didn’t miss him that much because she did not really have him in her early days of childhood. The actress had also shared that their real friendship started when she had entered the Bollywood industry.

Currently, the entire nation is locked up because of the COVID-19 outbreak. Everyone is advised to stay safe and stay at home to minimise the spread of coronavirus. Also, people above the age of sixty are strictly advised to stay at home. This has also made Alia concerned for her father, Mahesh Bhatt's health. In an interview with Rajeev Masand, the actress shared, "He is 70 plus. I am constantly nervous and thinking. That’s why I am always screaming ‘don’t touch your face, don’t do this’."

A few days ago, Alia had shared an emotional post for her father, Mahesh Bhatt. She had posted a monochrome picture and had written, "Stay home and go through old pictures when you’re missing your daddy", followed by a heart emoji. In the picture, we could see her hugging her daddy while she was sitting on her bed. (Also Read: Ajay Devgn Bashes Rumours Of Daughter, Nyasa Being Tested Positive With Coronavirus)

In an interview with the Elle, Alia Bhatt's sister, Shaheen Bhatt had given a wonderful monologue of her journey. She had written, "It’s difficult to describe what it’s like to have your baby sister go from Aloo to Alia Bhatt almost overnight. Fame has always been on the cards for her, though. So, when Student Of The Year (2012) catapulted Alia into somewhat uncomfortable notoriety, it wasn’t unexpected. “I want to be a star,” a five-year-old Alia once proclaimed after a rather spirited performance set to the music of (for the purposes of this story and as dramatic foreshadowing) Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. I sat in a corner and rolled my eyes — it was the third time we had watched her dance that day." (Don't Miss: Chahatt Khanna Reveals The Challenges She Is Facing As A Single Mother During The COVID-19 Lockdown)
