In 2021, though some nations have developed a potential vaccine against COVID-19 and a lot of front-line workers and aged people have taken the first dose, the threat of this life-threatening virus is still there. Sometimes, despite following the protocols, one may contract COVID-19 and similar happened with Brahmastra star, Ranbir Kapoor. It was a few days ago when reports were rife that Ranbir Kapoor had tested positive for COVID-19 and a source had revealed to Pinkvilla that the star is under quarantine, resting it out. When they had contacted Ranbir’s uncle, Randhir Kapoor, he had confirmed with a ‘Yes’. However, he was quick to add, “I believe he is not well, but I am not sure what he has got. I am not in town.” Neetu Kapoor had then confirmed that Ranbir tested positive for COVID-19. She had written on her Instagram, “Thank you for your concern and your good wishes. After Ranbir Kapoor tested positive for COVID-19, rumours were rife that his ladylove, Alia Bhatt may have also contracted the virus. But she refuted the reports soon through her IG handle and was also spotted with her director-friend, Ayan Mukerji at a temple in Mumbai, after performing Maha Shivratri puja. When Alia was asked by the paparazzi, “Kuch khaas manga?”, she retorted, "Haan manga, lekin nahi bataungi."
