Bollywood's most glamourous and successful couple, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt will soon get married, and their massive fanbase is on cloud nine at the moment. The fans have waited for years for their wedding, and it is nothing less than a much-awaited festival for them. Ranbir and Alia hold a special place in many people's hearts, and their wedding is one of the most anticipated celebrity weddings in the history of Indian cinema.
Although it sounds quite exaggerated to some, but we have already seen how, since the start of the year 2022, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt's wedding reports are the ones which were ruling the headlines from digital to print. As per the latest reports, Ranbir Kapoor and his ladylove, Alia Bhatt would enter the marital bliss after tying the knot with each other reportedly on April 14, 2022, in a hush-hush wedding at the former's home, Vastu.

A few moments back, Kareena Kapoor Khan and her husband, Saif Ali Khan were spotted leaving for their favourites, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt's wedding. The couple looked absolutely perfect in their respective outfits. On one side, Saif looked dapper in a pink kurta, white pants, and a well-tailored sharp-looking white waistcoat. On the other hand, Kareena dazzled in a classic zari embroidered timeless organza saree titled, Khaab, from none other than the ace fashion designer, Manish Malhotra. The actress looked simply out of this world, as her maang tikka also took our breath away and it's impossible not to compliment her pearl-beaded necklace.
As per a report in the Bombay Times, a source close to the Kapoor and Bhatt clans reported that on April 13, 2022, only the bride, Alia Bhatt, will be getting her mehendi done. The actress will not be a part of the ladies mehendi ceremony that will be taking place on April 14, 2022. The source also added that the pitr puja will take place on April 14, 2022, before Ranbir and Alia's haldi ceremony. For the unversed, the pitr puja is a holy ceremony in which a family pays their respect and remembers their ancestors and elders, who have passed away. The source also shared some details about the pitr puja and stated that Alia would be a part of the Kapoor clan's pitr puja.
Apart from mehendi and haldi, there will be pagdi and chooda ceremonies. Not only this, a low-key sangeet ceremony for the family members is also in the plans, as per the source. Talking about the baraat, then on April 15, 2022, Ranbir's baraat will reach the venue. After the wedding and other post-wedding ceremonies, April 17, 2022, will be the day for the end of the wedding festivities.
According to media reports and reliable sources, earlier rumours were rife that Ranbir Kapoor and his girlfriend, Alia Bhatt, were planning to tie the marital knot on April 13 or 14, 2022. Not just that, it is also being reported that the adorable couple will have an intimate wedding ceremony with only 28 people in attendance. Ranbir and Alia will likely host a mehendi ceremony ahead of the couple's wedding, which a haldi ceremony will follow. Those two ceremonies are also going to be extremely intimate.

However, it was in an interview with Aaj Tak, when Alia Bhatt's half-brother, Rahul Bhatt, had shared a shocking update regarding his sister's wedding with Ranbir Kapoor. Rahul had stated that the couple would not be getting married on April 13 or 14. According to the doting brother, since the wedding date was leaked in the media, Ranbir and Alia had decided to postpone their wedding, keeping the security reasons in their mind and on top of their priority list. Rahul had explained:
"The dates earlier were the same, but after the information was leaked to the media, the dates were changed. Security concerns were also one of the reasons."
