Bollywood actress, Alia Bhatt has been riding high on the professional front. The actress gave four back-to-back hits to the Indian film industry, namely RRR, Gangubai Kathiawadi, Darlings and Brahmastra. Moreover, she also made her Hollywood debut with the film, Heart Of Stone. Not just this, Alia also added another feather to her hat as she turned producer for the film, Darlings.
Alia Bhatt is not just associated with films as she also became a businesswoman after investing in the brand, Nykaa, and launched a clothing brand, Ed-a-Mamma. She also founded her production house, Eternal Sunshine Productions, in 2022. However, now in an interview, Alia revealed that it's her mother, Soni Razdan, who takes care of her finances.

During an interaction at the Forbes India Tycoon of Tomorrow event, Alia Bhatt opened up about her finances and revealed how her relationship with money changed as she grew up. Recalling her trip to London in her childhood, Alia shared that she was given 200 pounds for the entire trip and added that she spent 170 pounds carelessly as she had no understanding. Talking about the same, she said:
"When I was younger, of course, my relationship with money was restricted to the pocket money that I received from my mum, which I would very carefully save up and spend on some strange items. I remember once we went to London and we had only 200 pounds for the whole trip to shop, and I went and spent 170 pounds on the first outing because it was the first time I was going to such a large shopping space with so many brands. So I had no understanding of it."
Further in the interview, Alia revealed that her mother, Soni Razdan handles her money and added that she has no idea how much money she has in her bank. The actress also added that her mother has remained the caretaker of her finances throughout her life as she handles it very well. Alia can be heard saying:
"Even now, my mum handles my money. I am not sure how much money I even have in my bank. But every now and then I sit with my team and they take me through the numbers. I have a certain idea and a certain sense, but I know that my mother right now is handling my money very well. So my relationship with money is to make it and have my mother handle it."

On September 13, 2022, Soni Razdan had shared an adorable picture with her daughter, Alia Bhatt on her IG handle. The throwback picture was from Alia's first show of her mother's play, Where Did I Leave My Purdah. In the picture, the mother-daughter duo could be seen posing for a cutesy selfie in the dressing room. However, it was Alia's comment on the picture that made us go ROFL, as she penned, "Why am I making this strange face." Sharing the picture, Soni had penned a note which could be read as:
"On this day 7 years ago … when you came and saw my play 'Where Did I Leave my Purdah', and we took this funny pic in my dressing room. I remember it like it was just perhaps a year or two ago…. how does time fly so fast?"
On the work front, Alia Bhatt was last seen in the film, Brahmastra.
