Alia Bhatt is one the most popular and successful actresses in Bollywood. She has given back-to-back successful films that critics and audiences have loved. The actress' beauty, versatility, and acting potential have no match in the industry. In her personal life, Alia is married to Ranbir Kapoor, and their adorable daughter, Raha, has made our hearts swoon with her cuteness and fun antics. Even a glimpse of the little one instantly goes viral. In a new interview, Alia Bhatt opened up about the three most memorable and unforgettable moments from her motherhood journey.
Alia Bhatt is on a promotional spree for her upcoming film, Jigra, and recently sat down for an interview with Allure. During the conversation, she was asked about her pregnancy's three most memorable moments. In her reply, Alia shared that every day feels like a discovery, but she clearly remembers how she experienced her baby's first kick. The actress recalled that she was about to sleep when she felt a flutter, and she became so excited that she didn't sleep the whole night. Recalling the incident, Alia was quoted as saying:
"I was in bed ready to go to sleep watching some, you know, content on my iPad. And suddenly, I started feeling a little, little something, a flutter. And I was like, "Wait, I'm not watching anything to gimme some flutter in my stomach. What is this?" And I was like, "What, is it a kick?" And I wasn't sure. So I waited, and then I literally waited for it to happen again. And the thing is, when you want the baby to kick, the baby doesn't kick. When you don't expect it, the baby will kick. Okay."
Alia added that the moment made her realise she wasn't alone. Also, she quickly called her husband, Ranbir, who was sleeping in India. He was initially worried about her call, but she excitedly shared the update with him.

In the same interview, Alia mentioned that the other special moment was when she was when Raha said 'mumma.' She said she played with Raha on the latter's mat when her little one said it. The Darlings actress mentioned little competition between her and Ranbir regarding whether Raha would say papa or mumma first. So, she was happy to hear the word and even recorded a video of it for proof. In her words:
"I remember that moment very, very clearly. The first time, my daughter Raha said Mama, it was just me and her. We were playing on her playing mat. And before that, the backstory is we were, there was a fight at home, okay, between whether she's gonna say mama first or whether she's going to say papa first. So, of course, mama was like, say, "Mama, mama, mama." And Papa was like, "Papa, Papa, Papa." When she said it, it was just me and her."
