Ever since Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt had made a couple entry at Sonam Kapoor Ahuja and Anand S Ahuja’s wedding reception, fans are in awe of this beautiful jodi. Every month there are reports of Alia and Ranbir’s rumoured wedding, leaving their fans excited. Even though Ranbir and Alia have, time and again, denied their wedding speculations, the reports don’t seem to fade away. From Ranbir asking Alia’s father, Mahesh Bhatt for his daughter’s hand in marriage to Alia being a Sabyasachi bride, updates about Ralia’s wedding frequently makes it to the headlines.
Once again, the headlines report that Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor will tie the knot in 2021. Earlier, reportedly Ranbir and Alia had plans to get married in 2020 but due to COVID-19 and the demise of former’s father, Rishi Kapoor, they had decided to take the plunge next year. Amid the reports, Alia clarified in an interview with Pinkvilla, “When will I marry? Why is everyone asking me when I’m going to get married? You know I’m only 25 years old, and I think it’s too soon to get married right now.”
From the time Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor had confirmed their ‘really new’ relationship, speculations have been rife that the Kapoors and Bhatts have already started planning for ‘new innings’ of their lives. So much so that morphed images and fake wedding card of the couple had gone viral on social media. Yes, an invitation card of Ranbir and Alia’s January 2020 engagement had taken the social media by storm earlier this year. While we are eagerly waiting to see when Alia Bhatt will add the ‘Kapoor’ surname to her name, to everyone’s dispirit, the sagan invitation card was noticed to be a fake one. A closer look made everyone notice the multiple spelling and grammatical errors in the card. To begin with, the spelling of Alia Bhatt’s first name was written as ‘Aliya’, which is wrong. Secondly, Alia is the daughter of Mahesh Bhatt and not Mukesh Bhatt as the invitation card mentioned. Also, the date was mentioned as ‘22th January’ instead of 22nd January.
