On April 14, 2022, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor had taken their wedding vows in the presence of their family and close friends. Every picture of the adorable couple had sent everyone into a meltdown. From ditching red to taking 4 pheras instead of 7, Alia and Ranbir had set marriage goals for the millennials.
On April 19, 2022, the new bride, Alia Bhatt had made her first public appearance post her wedding with Ranbir Kapoor. She had stunned in a pink suit and had flaunted her huge diamond ring as she was papped outside the Mumbai airport. The gorgeousness was seen carrying a beautiful Christian Dior Tote bag with a bright blue and pink D-Jungle pop motif with the 'CHRISTIAN DIOR' signature on the front.

Although Alia looked stunning, however, her minimalistic look didn't go down well with a section of netizens as they trolled her for ditching sindoor and mangalsutra for her first post-wedding look. While one user wrote, "Sindoor to h nhi Maang me kahe ki beautiful", another commented, "Dulhan ki mehendi itni chotisi? Shadi ki ya sirf formality complete kar li."
For her big day, Alia Bhatt had looked beautiful in an ivory-coloured saree from the shelves of the designer, Sabyasachi Mukherjee. Her organza saree had till work embroidery all over it, and she had complemented it with a handwoven tissue veil. She had accessorised her bridal look with Sabyasachi jewellery, which had featured uncut diamonds and hand-strung pearls. On the other hand, Ranbir Kapoor had looked dapper in an ivory-coloured silk sherwani featuring intricate embroidery and uncut diamond buttons. He had paired his look with a kilangi, a safa and a shawl with zari embroidery work all over it.

Like many other inspiring aspects of the wedding, Alia's saree's pallu too had a uniqueness as she had got her wedding date inscribed on the pallu of her saree. In a photo shared by the IG handle of Diet Sabya, we could see Alia and Ranbir's wedding date i.e., "The fourteenth of April 2022" inscribed with beautiful silver work on the pallu of Alia's saree.
For the mehendi ceremony, Alia had worn a Fuschia pink-coloured lehenga paired with a strapped blouse from the shelves of the ace designer, Manish Malhotra. She had teamed her look with minimal makeup and diamond jewellery, including a stunning neckpiece adorned with uncut diamonds and green drops and a matching maang teeka.
On the professional front, Alia had resumed shooting for Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani!
