Recently, Alia Bhatt graced the special screening of her upcoming web series, Poacher, in London. The actress is serving as the executive producer of the series. However, what caught everyone’s attention was her look at the event.
Alia Bhatt took to her Instagram on February 18, 2024, to upload pictures of her glam look from the same event. She wore a gorgeous black-coloured velvet saree from the shelves of the ace Indian designer, Sabyasachi Mukherjee. The saree featured a golden sequinned border and a unique floral design at the end of the pallu.

She paired the saree with a sleeveless black-hued blouse and accessorised her look for the event with a stack of pearl necklaces and studs. Alia opted for glam makeup, which comprised a dewy base, blushed cheeks, and bold red lips, and tied her hair into a bun. There is no doubt that the diva looked drop-dead gorgeous in the chic Indian wear.
Meanwhile, we also stumbled upon pictures of Deepika Padukone wearing a similar saree from the collection of her favourite designer, Sabyasachi. She wore a black saree adorned with golden sequins on the border, which also featured a unique detailing at the end of the pallu. The same work in the pallu and the material of the saree differentiated Deepika and Alia’s ensembles.

Moreover, Deepika paired the gorgeous saree with a full-sleeved blouse and opted for heavily kohled eyes, blushed cheeks and nude lips as her makeup to go with her look. She accentuated her outfit with a pair of pearl-studded golden-toned earrings. Deepika, too, opted for a clean and sleek bun to complete her look for an event.
