Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor can easily be hailed as one of the sweetest couples in Bollywood. The duo got married back in 2022 after several years of dating. The duo's wedding was everything regal, and even the minute details had some deep meaning embedded within it, be it the dulhan's mehendi, outfit, or kaleeras. Recently, we stumbled upon some information about Alia's wedding ring, which Ranbir gave her while proposing to her in Maasai Mara.

Ranbir Kapoor opted for a personalised engagement ring for Alia Bhatt

Recently, taking to his IG handle, a jewellery content creator, Dhrumit Merulia, shared details about Alia Bhatt's engagement ring. Dhrumit stated in the video that Ranbir had personalised the special ring with which he proposed to Alia Bhatt. The ring has an eight-carat round diamond in the centre and also has eight other separate diamonds attached to it.

Alia Bhatt's engagement ring has a connection to her mother-in-law, Neetu Kapoor

For those who chipped in late, Ranbir has a connection with number eight. The actor considers eight to be his lucky number. The ring also has a connection to Neetu Kapoor, as the number '8' is also the latter's birthday. The content creator also added in the video that this ring has a cost of Rs. 3 crore, and it took a total of nine months to create this exclusive ring. For the unversed, Alia's ring was from the famous fashion brand, Van Cleef and Arpels.

Alia Bhatt's wedding took place at their home with their close friends and family members, and everything about this wedding was low-key, meaningful, and sober. The actress' kaleeras also had the number '8' adorned with it along with clouds, bird trinkets in gold, and stars. And it only proves how close the number is to Alia's heart.

Alia Bhatt's wedding ensembles took two weeks to be made

Alia Bhatt is perhaps that bride, who shelled out trends out there by ditching the traditional red hue on her wedding ensemble. For the day, the actress slipped into an ivory-hued saree from the ace designer, Sabyasachi Mukherjee. The saree had tilla work and featured embroidery all over. Alia teamed her saree with a matching blouse. A huge diamond and polki choker, along with a matching matha patti, added stars to her look. Alia's saree's pallu also had her wedding date inscribed on it.

The addition of a handwoven tissue veil added stars to her look. Ranbir Kapoor had complemented his wife in a matching ivory-toned sherwani, featuring uncut diamond buttons atop it. Talking about her wedding outfit, Alia, in one of her QnA sessions stated that Sabyasachi Mukherjee took a total of two weeks to finalise her wedding ensemble.
