And also revealed that only exceptional stars like Irrfan Khan, and Tabu can make it big in Hollywood. Soon netizens started expressing their views on the film. One user wrote, "The film is pathetic. I just watched it, and I need my 2 hrs back." Another wrote, "The performances not withstanding, a film relies more strongly on story and I am hardly an Alia simp but it's a but unfair if a film is said to be wrong or good based on performances alone."

A Reddit user shared a video of Alia Bhatt with her Heart of Stone co-stars. In the clip, Gal Gadot revealed that Alia Bhatt is British. Alia confirmed it with a big 'yes', and revealed that her mother was born in Birmingham, England. She added that she is born and brought up in India. When Gal Gadot asked Alia does her mother spoke British English with her, the actress said:
"No, my grand mother lived in England for her whole life, so she has British accent."

As soon as the video was uploaded, netizens flooded the comment section. While netizens pointed out Alia's lack of knowledge of how every Indian speaks British English, others debated acquiring British citizenship. One user wrote, "So she said she’s British, but did I hear ‘ I was born and brought up in India’ ?" Another commented, "She literally emphasized that she was born and brought up in India, but just has a British passport. Lmao what exaggerate? Next level nitpicking." One user wrote, "She's identifying as a 'British actress' in all of them. Let's not kid ourselves by pretending she doesn't know what she's doing by using that identifier."
