Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor's security consultant, Yusuf Ibrahim, recently appeared for a conversation with Zoom on their YouTube Channel. For the unversed, Yusuf orchestrated top-notch security for several celebrities. These include Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Ananya Panday, and Varun Dhawan, among others.
In an interview with Zoom, they discussed how paparazzi and fans prying into the celebrity's lives can be a hassle for the security at the task. However, Yusuf revealed that he shares a great rapport with the paps. He added that they are quite cooperative whenever requested not to snap stars after partying. During the interview, the security consultant stated:
"The time when I started my security work, all these popular paparazzi were doing groundwork at that time. We all used to work together only. Now, they have become big, but we have a certain comfort level with each other. If I need help and I am backstage, I call them directly to tell their teams who are on the fields to follow my instruction and cooperate with me once I come out with the star. This way works for both of us. They get their pictures and I am able to my work for security concerns. So, we have a mutual understanding.”
In the same conversation, Yusuf Ibrahim was asked how he handles the situation when celebrities come out after they have partied too hard. Responding to the question, he shared that the paparazzi only do their jobs. He added that his job as a security personnel is to make sure the celeb is safe and that they make sure of it at all times. He was quoted saying:
"Paps are doing their jobs. They have to get something and give it to the public, and they make money from it. We do our work of securing them and getting them seated in the car safely, which we manage easily. When we request them to stay away a bit and not capture certain things, they cooperate with us, and there’s no problem with that."
Meanwhile, in an interview with Siddharth Kannan earlier, Yusuf Ibrahim looked back at providing security cover for Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s wedding and called it the most challenging task. He shared that over 350 media personnel were stationed outside their wedding venue. Yusuf also shared that not only were the celebrities troubled by the crowd, but the people residing in the building got annoyed by the chaos as well.
In a recent interview with Siddharth Kannan, Yusuf opened up about the chaos that unfolded during an unplanned visit to Ajmer Sharif Dargah during the IPL on a busy Friday afternoon. He added that at any given time on a friday there are at least 10-15K people at the Dargah and once they knew that Shah Rukh Khan was there the crowd erupted into a frenzy.
