Things aren't looking good in Kim Zoliak's personal life. The 47-year-old Bravo alum is reportedly losing temporary custody of the four kids she shares with her estranged husband, former NFL player Kroy Biermann, 40. The decision comes amid an ongoing and increasingly bitter divorce battle between the estranged couple that has taken multiple turns since they split in 2023. To note, this was the second time the ex-NFL star filed for divorce from the Real Housewives of Atlanta star, after calling it off previously as they tried to make it work for their kids.
The Bravo alum is a mom of six, but after recent reports of instability in following through with court-ordered parent therapy sessions, and weeks of absence from the country. While she and Kroy shared joint custody of their four minor kids, Kim's reported negligence has put their safety at risk.

Kim Zoliak is a mom of six, four of whom she shares with Kroy, her husband of about 15 years. The couple separated in 2023 and has since shared joint custody of the children. The NFL star had previously demanded sole custody of the children when he first filed for a divorce, arguing that the reality TV star was unfit as a parent due to her alleged gambling and financial issues. After counter-filing and months of dispute, the custody remained contested and shifted back and forth between 2024 and 2025, with no long-term arrangement.

In February 2026, the estranged couple signed a temporary custody agreement with a condition that both Kim and Kroy would have to attend parent therapy sessions to gain proper custody of the minor children. However, new reports say that Kim has not been consistent with the therapy sessions, and she has to complete four of them to regain custody of the kids.

Kim, however, has refuted the claims, saying that her estranged husband was simply trying to malign her character with false allegations. Regarding her time away from the kids, the Bravo star claims the children were cared for. She was quoted as saying:

“These accusations are completely false and nothing more than a deliberate attempt by Kroy to defame my character. I spent five weeks away working on two TV shows to support my family and make sure my children are cared for... I refuse to be bullied or have lies twisted into a narrative about who I am. I will not stay silent, the truth is on my side, and it will come to light, no matter how hard anyone tries to bury it.”
Kim Zoliak is a mom of six, welcoming two daughters from her previous relationships. The Bravo alum's eldest daughter, Brielle Karenna, was born in February 1997 and is now 29 years old. In 2013, she and her sister, Ariana, were legally adopted by Kroy. Brianna is now a model and an entrepreneur, launching KAB Cosmetics in 2019 with Kim and Ariana. She is now engaged to minor league player Billy Seidl.

Kim's second child, Ariana Lenee, was born in October 2001 to her then-husband, Daniel Toce, whom she divorced in 2003. She spent much of her growing-up years in front of the camera, thanks to her mom's stint on Real Housewives of Atlanta and later in the spinoff, Don't Be Tardy. Being fairly early in the spotlight, Ariana has often talked about facing body image issues. Now 24, she is a popular influencer and a part of Peacock's reality series, Next Gen NYC.
Kim and Kroy's first child, a son, was born in May 2011 and was named Kroy Jagger Biermann, also known as Kroy Jr. or simply KJ. The pair welcomed their second son, Kash Jade, in August 2012, followed by fraternal twins Kaia Rose and Kane Ren, in November 2013, born 31 minutes apart. While the older daughters are adults, the custody ruling focuses on the four younger children, as all of them are minors.

After Kim's recent activities that questioned her ability to parent the children, a Georgia judge ordered the RHOA alum to surrender custody of the four minor kids to Kroy Biermann, effective April 3, 2026. The ruling states she must complete four mandatory parenting therapy sessions before she can regain access to them. The earliest possible date for reunification will be April 13, 2026. The NFL star has also accused her of violating custody terms and neglecting key responsibilities tied to their agreement. For now, he has sole temporary custody of the four younger kids. The situation could change quickly if Kim completes the required therapy sessions.
Do you think Kim will meet the court’s conditions and regain custody? Or is this just the beginning of an even more intense legal fight? Let us know.
