Bridgerton Season 4 Part 2 is now streaming on Netflix, and it has once again taken fans back into the Regency-era romance. This time, the spotlight is on 'Sophie Baek', portrayed by the budding Korean-Australian actress Yerin Ha. While viewers got to see 'Benedict Bridgerton's love story with 'Sophie Baek' unfold in the new season, viewers are equally curious to know whether Yerin Ha has a real-life romance. Is she dating anyone? Or is the actress keeping her love life a mystery like her character did during the masked entrance at the ball? Here's everything you might want to know about Yerin Ha's relationship status.

Until February 2026, Yerin Ha was not publicly dating anyone and was rather single. According to Yahoo News reports from Singapore, the actress prefers to keep her personal life extremely private and rarely shares any glimpses beyond her professional milestones. Additionally, her Instagram account features only red carpets, behind-the-scenes moments, and artistic shoots, with no confirmed romantic partner.
Likewise, there is no public record of Yerin Ha having any past relationships. She has not spoken about any ex-partners, nor has she ever been linked in a way that would confirm a relationship. Subsequently, amid the rapid rise in Yerin's popularity following her casting in Bridgerton, it appears she has been focused mostly on her professional growth rather than on a public romance. In some interviews, when asked about her decision to keep her personal life private, Yerin explained that actors are "also humans" who do not owe explanations of their private lives.

With the beginning of Bridgerton Season 4, Part 2's press tour, Yerin Ha's off-screen bond with her co-star Luke Thompson made headlines. Their warm interactions during interviews and press events made fans curious about whether her connection with him extended beyond the screen. However, rather than dodging the questions, Yerin directly addressed the speculations during an interview with The Nightly. Clarifying her bond with her co-star, the actress said:
"Luke is a dear, dear friend. I adore him as a friend. We worked together for a very intense period of time for nine, 10 months. But I can't control what people project onto us, but my friendship with him off-screen is different from what's on-screen. It's about being genuine, and my love for Luke as a friend is genuine."

The speculations about Yerin and Luke Thompson's off-screen bond largely stemmed from their "immaculate" on-screen chemistry. Since the season focuses on their slow burns and longing glances, the actress believes that fans often blur the line between fiction and reality. Moreover, their playful banter during the press tour only intensified that perception. Despite that, both Yerin and Luke have maintained professional boundaries. Explaining how they do not owe an explanation to anyone, the actress said:
"I'm not sure what there is to do except remind people in a gentle, polite way that we are also humans and we don't owe an explanation about what we do with our personal lives. Our private lives and our public-facing selves are very different. It is an interesting time when people feel like they have the right to be able to say what they want about you, but I think we should be able to just give more grace to people."
In fact, the actress openly discussed the importance of separating the character from the actor, noting that audiences are especially drawn because they become deeply immersed in romantic storylines. Furthermore, in a recent interaction with Elle, Yerin confirmed that dating apps were certainly not for her, and they interfered with her idea of privacy and meaningful connections
Although Yerin Ha's love life remains under wraps, her career has anything but quiet. She was born into a family of performers, and her grandmother, Son Sook, is a renowned South Korean actress. Subsequently, Yerin was trained rigorously from a young age. She attended Kaywon High School of Arts in Seoul before completing a Bachelor of Fine Arts at the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) in Sydney. The actress's initial stage work included Lord of the Flies with the Sydney Theatre Company, and she later gained international attention as Kwan Ha in Halo and appeared in Bad Behaviour and Troppo. At the same time, she was seen in HBO's Dune: Prophecy and Netflix's The Survivors.

Bridgerton Season 4 Part 2 brings 'Benedict' and 'Sophie's romantic arc to an emotional depth. After the fantasy masquerade ball in Part 1, the characters face the reality of the social divide in Part 2, bringing the focus back to the rigid Regency era. Therefore, 'Benedict' has to choose between societal expectations and personal happiness, while Sophie refuses to compromise her self-respect. Furthermore, the new season marks the return of Jonathan Bailey and Simone Ashley, who add more drama to the Bridgerton family.
Despite 'Sophie Baek's love life being the center of Bridgerton Seasonn4, Yerin Ha's love life could not be more difficult. What do you think?
