The entire world is at present a witness to the ongoing magical pre-wedding celebrations of Karan Singh Grover and Bipasha Basu. They had a Bengali-style puja on April 28, followed by a gulabi-themed sangeet and mehendi function.

While speaking to a leading entertainment portal, Bipasha’s close friend and stylist, Shyamli made some candid confessions of what all happened at the beautiful ceremony. She said:
“We just had 30-35 people for the mehendi. We deliberately chose the day time, so we all could have much time at our hands to enjoy the festivities and be better rested for today. Aaj ka din packed hai, wedding and then reception. Even today will also be a close-knit ceremony, immediate family and Bips-Karan’s friends who have been with the duo through thick and thin.”

And of the ceremony, she even said that there were surprise dance performances for the beautiful bride and her dashing groom. She was quoted:

“Out of the 30 -35 people present, 25 had prepared dance items for Bipasha and Karan! (laughs) The sisters and friends performed on Bips hit numbers as Beeedi Jaliyele, Lucky Boy and No Entry, etc. Bipasha had no idea that we will be performing, so she got so excited that by the end of every performance, she used to come on the dance floor, and do a lehenga twirl step. Super excited and happy she was. We closed the performance with Bips-Karan’s hot number, Touch My Body, on which Shilpa Shetty and Shamita Shetty performed especially for Bipasha. Even Karan joined the girls (Shetty sisters) in the end and danced on the number, much to his bride-to-be’s delight.”
Wow! That is definitely a sweet surprise for this soon-to-be married couple. Shyamli even shared that the excited couple have themselves decided to share pictures of their wedding so as to not leave their fans disappointed. She said:
“These guys (Bipasha-Karan) are so excited about their wedding, that they themselves are posting and sharing their pictures; they don’t want people to complain and lookout for inside pics idhar-udhar. By the end of the ceremony tomorrow, while we all were bone-tired, yet Bipasha was jumping around like an enthusiastic, happy bride. She is really enjoying her wedding festivities, and that’s why she refrained from inviting many people. Else it gets too formal.”
