Did 'Celeste Rivas' Disappear After Meeting D4vd? Ex-Teacher Recalls 15-Year-old Found Dead In Car

A new mystery has surrounded the music industry after the remains of a 15-year-old missing girl, Celeste Rivas, was found in singer, D4vd's abandoned Tesla. Day-by-day the case is taking new shape as fresh revelations come to surface. After old photos, alleged chats and matching tattoos, a person reportedly close to Celeste has opened up about how she allegedly met the singer and went missing. Here's everything to know about it.

Celeste Rivas's alleged former teacher reveals she had met D4vd via social media 

After D4vd and Celeste Rivas' case made headlines, a teacher went viral for claiming that he knew the 15-year-old girl and the situations surrounding her disappearance. He was seen addressing one of his classes in Southern California, where he claimed that he had taught Celeste years ago at Lakeland Village School in Lake Elsinore, CA. To prove his claim, he showed them one of his old photos with her. The former teacher alleged that Celeste has been missing since he taught her. According to the teacher, Celeste previously disappeared in early 2024 after meeting D4vd on social media. 

The teacher claimed she allegedly ran away to Hollywood with the singer, but was later tracked down and returned home. She reportedly vanished again in May 2024, and the teacher said he only learned about her tragic death this week. Soon, TMZ reached out to him for clarification and the teacher mentioned Celeste was frequently absent during her time in school but admitted he knew little about her home life. He clarified that he only shared the story with his class to warn students about the dangers of social media. He also claimed to know another student who was connected to D4vd who was seen in a video speaking with the singer in a Lake Elsinore parking lot, minutes away from Celeste’s family home.

Apart from the claims made by the teacher, Celeste’s family has also come forward with troubling claims. According to The U.S. Sun, Celeste’s mother, reported her missing in April 2024 and made several social media appeals for help. But her posts were later taken down. A source close to the family told the outlet that someone phoned Celeste’s mother and urged her to stop searching, saying, “she’s fine.” The caller also allegedly asked the family to remove missing-person posts. So, it left them fearful and helpless. Recalling how the Police failed to help them back then, the source said:

“I don’t understand why the police didn’t do more. For a period, Celeste came back home by herself and stayed with her mom, but no one asked where she had been. Then she disappeared again and went back to him.”

D4vd cancelled his US tour amid Celeste Rivas case

Meanwhile, LAPD has not named any suspect of interest in the case. Instead, detectives from the Robbery and Homicide Division searched a Hollywood Hills home tied to D4vd in this yet. They removed a computer and several bags of evidence, but no official link has been confirmed. The case remains classified as a death investigation. Even the cause of death is still undetermined. On the other hand, D4vd’s career has taken a hit. His scheduled performance in San Francisco was abruptly canceled, his Los Angeles show was removed from Ticketmaster, and even a sold-out appearance at the Grammy Museum was taken off the venue’s website.
