The six people accused of storming into South Indian superstar, Allu Arjun's Hyderabad residence are out after a Hyderabad court granted them bail today. The court told all the six accused to present a sum of Rs. 10,000 and two sureties. It was on December 22, 2024, when some people of Osmania University reached Pushpa 2: The Rule actor's residence and damaged his property. Soon, the cops intervened, and after an investigation, eight members of Osmania University's Joint Action Committee (JAC) were detained.
For the uninitiated, the protestors demand a compensation of Rs. 1 crore for the family of the 35-year-old woman who died during the stampede in Sandhya Theatre. Soon after the arrest of six accused in Allu Arjun's house attack case, BRS leader, Krishank speculated that one of them has a connection to Telangana CM. According to Krishank, one of the suspects, Reddy Srinivas, is CM Revanth Reddy's aide.
The BRS leader took to his X (formerly Twitter) handle and penned a detailed note in which he shared the details of a link between Revanth Reddy and Reddy Srinivas. Not only this, Krishank even shared a picture featuring Revant Reddy and Reddy Srinivas together. However, as of now it is not known whether it is real or fake. An excerpt from the same can be read as:
"Reddy Srinivas, who attacked Allu Arjun's residence, is not a student leader at Osmania University. He is a close aide of Revanth and Kodangal Congress candidate of the 2019 ZPTC poll."
The tweet went viral on social media, and now so many other unidentified news sources and meme pages have started linking Reddy Srinivas and Telangana Chief Minister, Revanth Reddy. Amidst the growing attention to such speculations and unconfirmed accusations, Congress spokesperson, Sama Ram Mohan Reddy spoke to NDTV and shared his party's take on the matter. The spokesperson clearly denied rumours establishing a link between one of the accused in Allu Arjun's house attack, Reddy Srinivas and CM Revanth Reddy. He said:
"None of them belong to Congress. If they find any Congress link, those workers will stand disqualified."
After the attack on Allu Arjun's Jubilee Hills residence in Hyderabad, Telangana Chief Minister, Revanth Reddy sent a strong message and condemned the vicious attack. The CM assured the citizens that a proper investigation would be initiated and directed the city police commissioner and state DGP to take strict action against the accused. However, now that the six prime accused have been released on bail, it will be interesting to see how Revanth Reddy will handle the speculations of him having a link with Reddy Srinivas.
