Amaal Mallik Defends Harsh Statements Against Farrhana Bhatt In 'BB19', 'Let's Not Act Like Only..'

The latest Bigg Boss 19 episode has become one of the season’s most explosive episodes, majorly because of the heated argument between Farrhana Bhatt and Amaal Mallik, which happened after the former decided to shred Neelam Giri's family letter. While Amaal Mallik's statements have sparked controversy and received backlash, his team has come forward and defended his harsh statements against Farrhana. 

Amaal Mallik and Farrhana Bhatt’s team argue on social media

After the heated clash between Amaal Mallik and Farrhana Bhatt went live on TV, Farrhana Bhatt’s team took to her X (formerly Twitter) handle to share her thoughts on Amaal Mallik’s action of throwing her food and bringing her mother in between. While expressing disappointment, Farrhana Bhatt’s team shared a long post. A part of it can be read as:

"Amaal, the confidence you can’t show in front of the men in the house somehow only comes out when it’s the women. How much of a man are you, really?"

Soon after Farrhana Bhatt’s X post went viral, Amaal Mallik’s team tagged it and gave a befitting reply to it. In the post, the musician’s team mentioned how Farrhana spoke about Amaal behind his back, when the duo used to be friends. In the post, Amaal’s team also explained that the singer has fought with ‘men’ as well in the house, it is not always a woman. The post can be read as:

"We've always valued Farrhana and Amaal's friendship in the past. But, Farrhana herself spoke behind her own friends, disrespected Amaal over a simple thing and even tore Neelam’s family letter just to get back. Everyone has crossed lines...let’s not act like only one person went wrong. Taali kabhi ek hi haath se nahi bajti."

Why did Farrhana Bhatt and Amaal Mallik argue?

The entire issue happened during a captaincy task. Contestants were given emotional letters from their families and each round had a sanchalak whose letter was hidden in the pile. The one who found it would decide whether they would shred the letter to stay in the captaincy race or hand over the envelope and lose their chance. While most contestants chose to give the letter, Farrhana Bhatt chose to shred Neelam Giri's letter, which suddenly made her the common enemy of all the housemates. 

Soon after Farrhana's decision, all the housemates started to express their frustration, anger and disgust towards her, but it was Amaal Mallik who grabbed everyone's attention. Amaal, in his anger, snatched food from Farrhana and threw it. Not only this, he brought her mother in between and said:

"Tu aur teri mummy dono B-grade hai."

The minute their heated argument went live, a lot of fans expressed their thoughts on the same. Majorly, most of them came in support of Farrhana because she stayed calm despite harsh statements. Some fans also called her a winner for this behaviour. On the other hand, Amaal received a lot of backlash, not just from fans but also from former Bigg Boss contestant, Kamya Panjabi. Everyone felt that he overreacted and crossed the limit by bringing Farrhana’s mother in between.
