Amaal Mallik Reveals Why He And His Ex Jat GF Broke Up, Shares Her Family Didn't Like His Surname

Amaal Mallik is being raw and real in Salman Khan hosted controversial reality show, Bigg Boss 19. Amaal, within a week, made pretty huge revelations related to his life, where he spoke about dealing with sleep apnea, having a family feud with his parents and also on his current relationship status with a girl who is not in the Bigg Boss house. Amaal Mallik reveals of dating a Jat girl, shares religious differences as reason for breakup

Amaal sat down for an interview with Siddharth Kannan and spoke about his 5-year-long relationship. His love story with his ex-girlfriend did not have a happy ending as her family was not fine with his religious background. He shared that people have this understanding that he follows Islam but he has a Muslim father and a Saraswat Brahmin Hindu mother. Amaal shared that his ex-girlfriend's family was conservative and explained how they did not approve of his background. Amaal shared:

"I have friends from different religious backgrounds and for me to understand that someone is judging me based on my surname. It is good I did not associate as they are not my kind of people. Choti soch hogi toh dosti aur rishte bhi nai chalte. They were like we are Jats and they were like you are from this Islamic background."

Amaal Mallik remembers his 5-year-old former relationship

Amaal shared that there is no eye of Islam as he does not follow any religion. He is the least religious, but he believes in the concept of good karma. He wants good things to happen to all, but with him, it should be a little extra. Amaal did share that he never found that kind of love that he had found in the Jat girl, and speaking of his 5-year-old relationship he shared:

"There was a beautiful relationship in my life from 2014 to 2018-19 and after that, I never found that kind of feeling in my heart ever, that love again. That was where you say ‘Light enters where the wound is,’ and that happened with me."

Amaal Mallik shares if he misses his ex-girlfriend

Amaal shared that he created soundtracks because of the pain he had in his life. He shared that his relationship was pure along with being beautiful. However, both of them knew that it would never culminate into anything because there were numerous rigid religious and cultural factors from the girl’s side and her parents. When he was asked if he missed the Jat girl, Amaal shared:

"Nai yaar abhi dur aagayi hai kahanaani. Dates pe gaya hu serious relationship ban nai paya."

Amaal Mallik has a girlfriend at the moment

It was in one of the episodes of Bigg Boss 19 that Amaal shared a message to his girlfriend, who is not in the Bigg Boss house. He shared that he has something to say to his special someone, who is concerned that he will make it on Bigg Boss 19. Respecting what his current girlfriend wanted, Amaal shared:

"I have kept your respect with me inside this house. After the show, we’ll sit down, have a meaningful talk, and fully understand each other."
