Amid Buzz Of Her Malayalam Debut, Mahira Khan Praises Mohanlal And Malayalam Films, Netizens React

Pakistan actress, Mahira Khan has made a mark for herself in both Lollywood and Bollywood. The actress has only done one movie in India, that is Raees, but her fame in India is praiseworthy. As per the recent buzz, the Humsafar actress is all set to come back to India with a Malayalam film, L2: Empuraan, opposite superstar, Mohanlal.

Mahira Khan garnered immense love and fame in India via her Pakistani drama, Humsafar. The series was released in India after four years of its official release in Pakistan and became an instant hit owing to its realistic plot. Soon after, Mahira was cast in Raees and her husky voice and impeccable acting won Indians’ hearts, and they can’t wait to see her back on the silver screen.

Mahira Khan schools an interviewee about the difference between Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu films

A clip of Pakistani actress, Mahira Khan has resurfaced on the web where she schooled the interviewee and the other panel of guests on the differences between Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu films. Mahira stated that she loves Malayalam films, and one of the other panellists commented that KGF is Malayalam, to which she cleared that she was talking about Malayalam films and not about Telegu or Tamil movies. She then urged everyone to watch Malayalam films as they are amazing.

Mahira Khan sang praises of Malayalam films

In the same panel discussion, Mahira Khan praised Prithviraj Sukumaran and Mohanlal for their creative movies and shared that most of these Malayalam movies were later adapted as mainstream Bollywood films. She added that the Malayalam industry makes more money by selling its movies to Bollywood than its box office collection. Moreover, the Malayalam cinema is terrific as it inculcates such creative ideas with great direction and lighting inputs, which makes it a must-watch.
