South Indian actress, Nayanthara has been in a steady relationship with the director, Vignesh Shivan for quite a long time. For the unversed, it was in the year 2016, when Nayanthara was playing the lead role in one of his directorial films, Naanum Rowdy Dhaan, that they had fallen in love with each other. Since then, the two never miss a chance to paint the town red with their mushy moments and PDAs.
Recently, there were rumours that Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan would tie the knot in June 2022. If media reports are to be believed, Vignesh would soon start filming the movie, AK62, which also includes Nayanthara in the cast along with the South Indian actor, Ajith Kumar. Thus before beginning the shooting, the much-in-love couple was rumoured to be planning a wedding. However, both Nayanthara and Vignesh have been tight-lipped about the matter, and there is no clarity about whether the marriage would be an intimate affair or a grand ceremony.

A few hours ago, Vignesh Shivan took to his Instagram handle and shared a drool-worthy picture with his fiancee, Nayanthara. In the picture, the duo can be seen posing for the camera from any of their events, and Vignesh can't stop gushing while looking at her. Nayanthara looked gorgeous as always in a white top paired with chocolate-coloured cargo pants. On the other hand, Vignesh looked handsome in an all-black ensemble, including his black T-shirt and black pants. Together the couple looked picture perfect. Alongside it, he wrote:
"If your heart is big !! You end up smiling at everything!"
Earlier, Nayanthara and Vignesh were spotted together at the premise of Kaligammbal temple, making their huge fanbase curious about their wedding. Then, in a viral video which made its way on social media, Nayanthara was seen protected by her beau, Vignesh as they were being mobbed. But, what had caught our attention was the actress flaunting sindoor on her forehead, and this had sparked rumours that the couple had tied the knot inside the temple or was already married. After watching this, their fans couldn't hide their happiness and had flooded the comment section of the video while congratulating them on their secret wedding.

For the unversed, the power couple of the South Indian film industry, Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan are already engaged. On March 25, 2021, Vignesh had taken to his Instagram handle to post a picture of his ladylove's hand placed on his chest. However, what caught our attention in the picture was Nayanthara's huge wedding ring. Further, during a Tamil talk show, hosted by Divya Dharshini, Nayanthara was asked about the same, and she had confirmed getting engaged to the man of her dreams. Nayanthara had said:
"It was my engagement ring. We are private people so we didn’t wish to have a grand ceremony. When we decide to get married, we will definitely inform everyone. Our engagement happened in the presence of close family members. We haven't decided on our wedding yet."
