However, now his efforts are being acknowledged outside the spotlight of his parents' phenomenal work and netizens have realized that they might have been a little too harsh to the actor. On March 4, 2025, an X user took to their handle and shared how Abhishek was unnecessarily made a victim of nepotism negativity. They stated:

Amitabh Bachchan also took the opportunity to share his opinion on the same. The actor reposted the post and shared how he felt the same way. He added that it was not just because he was his father. For the unversed, Amitabh has, on several occasions, lauded his son for his performances. He stated:

Amitabh Bachchan praises his son, Abhishek Bachchan, for not making any fuss, calls him a 'normal being'

Amitabh Bachchan made two more posts praising his son, Abhishek, for his work. He reported another tweet by an X user of Abhishek at the HT India's Most Stylish Awards, praising how he stole the spotlight at the event. The proud father commended his son for walking with grace, never displaying any unnecessary excitement and being a normal human being. He stated:
