On top of it, Abhishek was rumoured to be in extra-marital affair with Nimrat Kaur on the basis of one Reddit post.

Recently, Amitabh re-shared a video of Abhishek as he praised him for his performance in the recent film, I Want To Talk. Abhishek was speaking in English in the video. A user on X, tried taking a dig at him and wrote:
"Sir ji Hindi me bolne ko kaho Jr Bachchan ji ko. English hamari samaj me barobar nahi aati sirji."
The user's comment left Amitabh Bachchan infuriated and he lashed out on the user in Hindi. He replied:
"Waah, kya drishtikon hai apka. Adbhut, bolne ko kehte ho Hindi mein, aur likhte ho Angrezi aksharo mei."
For the past few days, people are in shock as Aishwarya Rai dropped 'Bachchan' from her surname. She was addressed as her maiden name in back-to-back two events. This incident resurfaced buzz about Abhishek and Aishwarya's separation. On December 2, 2024, Amitabh also dropped an angry note on X, which read:
"Chup."
Amitabh Bachchan has been keeping calm over the rumours mills churning stories about his son, Abhishek Bachchan's relationship dynamics with Aishwarya Rai. On November 21, 2024, Amitabh Bachchan expressed his hurt over the same in his blog post, wherein he talked about the 'speculations'. The actor expressed his concern about the 'unverified truths', and how it is put in the public domain by using the 'question marks'. He even emphasised on the responsible approach towards the news.
