Amitabh Bachchan is currently hosting the sixteenth season of Kaun Banega Crorepati. The superstar of the century inspires many by continuing to work at the age of 82. However, a huge part of his success goes to his wife, Jaya Bachchan, who has been caring for his family and home. Amitabh Bachchan has repeatedly shared that he is scared of his wife, Jaya, and now he has revealed that he gets anxious about his wife's calls.
In the recent episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati, Amitabh Bachchan revealed that whenever guests come to their house and they need to talk in private, Jaya Bachchan talks in Bengali. At that time, he pretends he understands everything when he does not get a word. In Amitabh's words:
“When a guest comes, and you need to talk privately in front of others, Jaya always speaks in Bengali, and I pretend that I understand, but I really don’t. Recently, she was shooting for a film in Goa, and I got a phone call from her. Normally, we talk through messages, but this time, she called, and I got nervous. When my wife calls, I get anxious, not knowing what’s going to happen."
Amitabh Bachchan shared that normally he and Jaya talk via messages, but the latter called him when he was in Goa, and he got really anxious. He knew that Jaya would talk in Bengali, and the same happened. The actress blabbered, and while he said yes to everything she uttered, he finally admitted that he did not understand anything. Amitabh further added:
"I hesitated, answered the call, not knowing what had happened. She started speaking in Bengali because there were people around, and I didn’t understand a word. I just kept saying 'ha ha,' but after a while, I told her I didn’t understand what she was saying. So, sometimes, I have to do things like this. If you ask me today to speak Bengali, I don’t know it. I only know two words: Besi jane na, ektu ektu jaane."
In the latest episode of the quiz show, KBC 16, Farah Khan arrived with Boman Irani and told the host, Amitabh Bachchan, that they wanted to cast him. She further revealed that the film's name is 'Jab Tak Bachchan'. After that, Amitabh Bachchan started reading out the terms and conditions.
Reading out the conditions loud and clear, Amitabh revealed they would shoot when he would be free. They would have banarasi paan as dessert. Meanwhile Boman quipped that they could shoot the project at Jalsa, which is Big B's family home. Reacting to this, Farah instantly stated that Amitabh Bachchan's wife, Jaya Bachchan would throw them all out. To everyone's surprise, Amitabh Bachchan readily agreed to Farah's remark. Farah said:

In an earlier episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 16, Amitabh Bachchan started the 'Fastest Fingers' round, in which contestants compete to give correct answers. Amitabh revealed that, just like last season, the contestant who gave all ten correct answers would be invited to his home for dinner. Further, Amitabh was asked who cooks at his home. Amitabh instantly replied that it was his wife, Jaya Bachchan. The superstar further added that after fifty years, his wife knows their habits and makes sure there is food. Taunting his wife, Amitabh added that she makes sure that they should eat, even if they don't want to.
