Amitabh Bachchan is the ultimate Shehenshah of Bollywood. His stardom is ever-increasing, and even to this day, his fans gather outside his house to get a glimpse of him every Sunday. Big B is an avid social media user, and his social media feed is a delight to his fans. However, not many know that Amitabh wishes every friend and known ones on their special day. And if they forget to reply to his birthday text, the actor publicly schools them.
Time and again, Bollywood celebrities have missed Amitabh Bachchan's text in the ocean of birthday posts, and he has called them out on it. Recently, a Reddit user shared some screenshots of Amitabh's old tweets wherein he schooled the stars for ignoring his text. As Anushka Sharma didn't reply to his text, a disheartened Amitabh tweeted to her, saying that he sent her an SMS to wish her a happy birthday. Responding to it, Anushka thanked Amitabh for the same and wrote on Twitter:
"Thank you so much Sir, for remembering my birthday and sending your kind wishes! (Responding to your sms as I tweet this)."

Not just Anushka, Amitabh Bachchan had also sulked over Ranveer Singh as the latter did not reply to his birthday text. However, it turned out that Ranveer had already thanked Big B for his wishes and had even replied to him. Clarifying his stance, Ranveer replied on Twitter, "Except that I TOTALLY replied! I just cross checked it too! You were in fact one of the first to even wish!" Ranveer then went on to praise Big B for his gestures like these and called him the greatest of all time, adding:
"I'm blessed that you even know I exist!"
Once, Sonam Kapoor also found herself at the receiving end of Amitabh Bachchan's scolding. As Sonam replied to all her friends and fans' birthday wishes for her, Big B immediately tweeted, "...what about ME .. this is Amitabh Bachchan my dear .. i sent you an sms on your birthday and you never replied ..aaarrrgghh". Sonam quickly apologised to him, saying that she didn't get his message. She replied:
"Oh my god sir!! I didn't get it!! I always reply!! Thank you so much! I got @juniorbachchan message. I'm so so sorry."
On Shilpa Shetty's birthday, Amitabh Bachchan sent a birthday text to her and also her husband, Raj Kundra. However, Shilpa still forgot to reply to the same. So, Amitabh took to Twitter and told Shilpa about the same, following which, she thanked him for his wishes and said that her birthday was incomplete without them. On the other hand, Preity Zinta was also schooled by Amitabh for not acknowledging his birthday wishes. He tweeted to her:
"Wherever you are, since you have refused to reply to my sms .. Ha ha ..A very happy birthday .. love and happiness."

Amitabh Bachchan's old tweets left the netizens in splits, and they soon started reacting to the same. While one user commented, "Since you didn’t replied to my personal text, I’m gonna expose your negligence on global platform younglings", another penned, "Grumpy old lonely man antics". Meanwhile, a third user took to the comment section to write, "Abhishek mentioned in some interview that AB Sr sends a WhatsApp message and then texts the person to let them know he has sent them a Whatsapp message .. lol."
