Bollywood superstar, Amitabh Bachchan has planned a special movie date night for his wife, Jaya Bachchan on her 73rd birthday. The timeless couple never fails to shower love on each other and we have often seen Amitabh ji sharing rare glimpses of his marital bliss. It is said that once you find the right person, your life becomes a happily ever after. And this stands true in the case of Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan.

Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan had tied the knot on June 3, 1973. Their love story had started when Jaya had first seen the six-foot-tall, Amitabh ji at Pune Film Institute. And soon their paths had crossed again on the sets of film, Guddi (1971), wherein, Jaya ji had felt the first brush of love. And while Jaya was already in love, Amitabh didn't saw her the same way until they had worked again in the film, Ek Nazar (1972). And rest as, we say, is history!
April 9, 2021, marks two important celebratory milestones for the megastar, Amitabh Bachchan. His wife, Jaya Bachchan is celebrating her birthday and also their son, Abhishek Bachchan's recently released film, Big Bull is being loved by all. Amitabh ji took Twitter and shared a throwback picture with Jaya ji and praised his son, Abhishek's brilliant performance. In the monochrome picture, the evergreen couple can be seen laughing their hearts. Alongside it, Amitabh ji tweeted, "Appointment was met, it was mind-blowing, have seen it thrice, tonight for the fourth time Bhaiyu." Check it out below:
Amitabh ji had also penned a blog post for his son, Abhishek and he appreciated his recent performance. In his blog, he wrote, "Aahhh .. children shall always be in the softest of spots no matter what !! And when they do something remarkable the pride and the chest swells further. For a Father it is ever a moment of great pride to see their ‘progress report’ prosper and do well .. I am no different from any other Father .. the mention of such always brings emotion and tears .. particularly when there is an exhibition of immense value."

Jaya Bachchan has been a strong pillar of support for Amitabh Bachchan. We remember in an interview with the Friday magazine, Amitabh Bachchan had opened up on his relationship with his 'darling wife', Jaya Bachchan. The superstar had stated, "As busy as we get, we need to be reminded that we – my wife Jaya and I – are still sweethearts. In that sense, it makes me stop and realise how wonderful she makes me feel."
In the same interview, Amitabh ji had shared that Jaya ji understands him more than anyone else, "In any marriage, there are ups and downs and areas where disagreements take place but that’s all part of it. Jaya is extremely open and very straight. Sometimes embarrassingly straight but that’s how her nature is. I’ve never tried to disturb that quality of hers and she’s not disturbed my quality of being myself. When I want to be left alone, she leaves me alone." Amitabh ji had also opened up love and how it has changed over the years, "Ah, love! It hasn’t changed over the 41 plus years I have spent with Jaya. No! Nothing’s changed. Because it manifests itself into family, children, grandchildren."
