Amitabh Bachchan is undoubtedly the most evergreen star of Bollywood. Even at the age of 80, the talented actor can give any other young actor a run for their money, as he has been exploring newer and newer horizons of work. Be it the silver screen, OTT platforms, advertisements or television space, Big B has been winning hearts almost everywhere. However, it seems that one of his work engagements has landed him into big time trouble recently.
Amongst all his projects and collaborations, Amitabh Bachchan has been a part of quite a few brand endorsements, that includes some prominent brands. However, recently, the Confederation of All India Traders have put forth a complaint against the actor, for one of his brand advertisements with Flipkart. According to the complaint, that has been shared by Secretary General of the CAIT on X (formerly known as Twitter), the actor has engaged in a misleading advertisement with the retail brand, Flipkart, that states that deals and discounts for the sale of mobile phones are only available only on the online retail platform, and not in retail stores. The CAIT has further imposed a fine of Rs. 10 lakhs to the actor for spreading such factually incorrect news.

In one of his previous episodes on the show, Kaun Banega Crorepati, Big B recalled his debut film, Saat Hindustani and expressed his feelings on getting the first-ever pay check for the same. The actor mentioned that he wanted to give his first salary to his parents, Harivansh Rai Bachchan and Teji Bachchan straightaway, as he wished to shoulder their responsibilities and do something special for them. He had mentioned:
“Humko ye laga ki isase hume jo bhi milega, wo hum apne ma-babuji ko de dein. Mujhe ek zariya mil gaya ki apne ma-babuji ko bula kar apne paas rakhein. Jo zimmedari unhone humare liye jeevan bhar kiya hai us zimmedari ko hum apne kandho par rakh kar aage unke liye kar ke dein.”
In another previous episode of his show, Kaun Banega Crorepati, Amitabh Bachchan had interacted with a contestant about the scientific advancements in modern world, with the coming of AI or Artificial Intelligence. While the contestant explained the actor how AI has the potential to completely replace a human being with their 3D hologram, Amitabh reacted how he fears to be out of work due to AI.

Taking to his blog on August 31, 2023, Amitabh Bachchan had elaborated on the topic of his unbeatable energy, which he showcases during the show, KBC 15. He discussed how people are left in awe of his energy and often ask him about the same. Sharing his secret behind the same, Big B had revealed:
“Yes I run onto the set of KBC .. the audience asks me why I do so .. I say I feel like doing it so I do .. they tell me we need to know the secret of your energy .. I tell them I have no secret, I was born thus, and if you need to know you shall have to ask them that created me .. and they have left for the Heavens, so how do I ask them .. they tell me we wish you to live another 500 years .. I smile .. they say yes we do .. I still smile .. they say we would never want you to change, may you remain this way all your life .. I continue to smile…”
