Amitabh Bachchan is a living legend known for his extraordinary achievements and undefeatable energy, even at the age of 80. Apart from his mesmerising presence on the celluloid, the actor is also known for his enthusiastic avatar on the television screen, since he hosts the famous quiz show, Kaun Banega Crorepati. And during a recent episode of the show, Big B spoke about his fear of getting replaced.
During the latest episode of the quiz show, Kaun Banega Crorepati 15, Amitabh Bachchan opened up about his fear of getting replaced. In the teaser video, shared by the official streaming partner of the show, Big B can be seen interacting with a participant, as they discussed the potential of AI developments in the near future that can easily replace a real human being with an AI-generated hologram, which is equally realistic. Reacting to the contestant’s revelations, Big B quickly quipped in with his reply and shared his fear on the same. He mentioned:
“So let me tell you the truth this is not me but my hologram. I am scared I might be replaced with a hologram; in movies such things keep happening.”

In the same conversation, Big B mentioned that he is aware of the newer developments made by Artificial Intelligence in the world around him, and elaborated how it has easily replaced many jobs, that were earlier done by human beings. He also expressed his astonishment over AI’s capabilities to replace human being exactly the way that they actually are, even when they’re not present in reality. Sharing his fear of being rendered jobless due to AI, Big B mentioned:
“We are taken to a room and there are around 40 cameras rotated around and designed to make several expressions by looking around and making faces. I really do not know for what but later I learned that they will actually be used in my absence. So even if I have not given the shot, it will seem that is me. So I get scared AI will one day take our jobs. Please help me out if I ever go jobless as we get a job with a lot of difficulty.”

Despite his age, Amitabh never fails to impress everyone with his non-stop energy and spontaneous reactions, making everyone go in awe of him. During one of his previous episodes in the same show, Big B had once opened up about how he gets so much of energy for the show, and revealed that it is not something out-of-the-blue for him. He revealed that he’s been raised in a similar fashion by his parents.

In one of his older blogs, Big B had opened up about a lesser-known anecdote from his life and revealed how he’s been able to stay aloof from smoking and drinking in his lifestyle. He admitted that he was quite indulgent in such habits in his youth, but he soon enough realised that the ill-effects of his habits had already made a damage to his health, and thus immediately decided to quit it.
