Amitabh Bachchan was recently a part of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding soiree in Jamnagar. While the other celebrities jetted off to the gala event on March 1, 2024, itself, Big B arrived just for the last day of the bash. He was accompanied by his wife, Jaya Bachchan, daughter, Shweta Bachchan, son, Abhishek Bachchan and daughter-in-law, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. His grandkids, Navya Naveli Nanda, Agastya Nanda and Aaradhya Bachchan were also with them.
On March 4, 2024, Amitabh Bachchan took to his X handle (previously known as Twitter) and shared a cryptic post hours after his visit to Jamnagar. Big B's post was about being late and grabbed many eyeballs. He wrote:
“T 4939 … late yes, but never the pretense.”

However, the context of Amitabh Bachchan's post is unclear. Meanwhile, the superstar also opened up about attending Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's pre-wedding bash. He also talked about visiting Vantara on his blog. Calling it a never-seen-before experience, Big B penned:
“The gates of Jalsa did not open on the Sunday .. but the gates of a wedding did occur .. up to the location of the wedding and then back just now. It has to be said the experience was one never seen before .. not just the atmosphere of the wedding, but the VanTara animal relief facility. Goodness me .. what an extraordinary experience and the most scientific set up for the animals that get maltreated, to be brought here at this farm and nurtured out if habitation.”
Amitabh Bachchan also shared that he can't describe the joy and ecstasy that he experienced at the Ambani bash. He also mentioned that the glory and chanting of shlokas and mantras further added stars to the divine atmosphere, making it all look incredible. Big B added:
“This is an experience only seeing can be believed .. and no more details for the joy and ecstasy of the experience shall be driven away .. but see you all must. And then the glory of the Shlokas, the chanting of the mantra’s and the truly divine atmosphere and environ created by the hosts .. simply incredible .. So for now it is a latish night.”
In one of the videos doing rounds on the internet, the Bachchan clan was seen arriving at the Jamnagar airport together. As the paps asked them to pose together for a family picture, they all looked awkward. However, Jaya Bachchan walked away from the scene, and it looked like Big B wanted to have a picture with the other members. Jaya even waved and smiled at the paps stationed outside the venue, which was a rare sight.

Soon the video was shared on Reddit, and many netizens flooded the post's comment section with their reactions. The social media users pointed out that Jaya Bachchan couldn't even pretend in front of the cameras and the Bachchan family looked dysfunctional. One user penned, "Kinda odd that Abhishek is walking ahead of his wife and daughter. The normalcy is to walk alongside or at least behind the ladies, isn't it?" Another penned, "I feel the family wanted to stop and pose especially aishwarya and Aaradhya but the family looks so dysfunctional; jaya not waiting and going. They couldn’t help but walk away."
