KBC15: Amitabh Bachchan Pulls Daughter, Shweta Bachchan's Leg As She Greets Him, 'Papa Chhod Dijiye'

Amitabh Bachchan recently welcomed his grandson, Agastya Nanda, on his quiz-based reality show, Kaun Banega Crorepati 15. For the unversed, Shweta Bachchan's son, Agastya, made his acting debut with Zoya Akhtar's film, The Archies, and he has been grabbing a lot of attention since then. The star kid was accompanied by his co-stars, Suhana Khan, Khushi Kapoor, Mihir Ahuja, Vedang Raina, Yuvraj Menda and Dot, on the show.

Shweta Bachchan Nanda makes a special appearance on KBC 15

It was indeed a wholesome episode as Amitabh Bachchan shared many fond anecdotes about Agastya, leaving everyone in splits. During one of the episode's segments, Vedang, Khushi, and Dot graced the ‘hot seat’ and were asked a question, which they failed to answer. So, they decided to use the lifeline, 'Video Call a Friend', and dialled the number of Agastya's mother, Shweta Bachchan Nanda.

As Amitabh’s daughter, Shweta surprised everyone with a special appearance via a video call, she greeted her dad by saying, “Hello papa”. She also greeted the kids who participated in the show, and Agastya was also seen waving at his mom. However, Big B pulled her leg and said:

“Achha, Papa chhod dijiye."

Now, a video from the episode has surfaced on Reddit, and netizens have reacted to the same. One user lauded Big B's witty nature and penned, "The way he called her out was EPIC". Another commented, "Shweta Bachchan Nanda ji.. Is she still a Nanda? I thought she dropped her last name." Meanwhile, a third user wrote, "Stopp, she’s so weird. N him saying Nanda." Jaya Bachchan confessed to hitting Shweta Bachchan

Once, the Bachchan clan, including Amitabh, Jaya, Shweta and Abhishek, graced Simi Garewal’s chat show, Rendezvous With Simi Garewal. During the same, Shweta revealed that Jaya was partial towards Abhishek. But Jaya denied the claim and stated that her daughter often says the same. Then, Simi played an old clip of Jaya and Amitabh, in which the actress had shared that Shweta was a difficult child and got a lot of whacking from her. In her defence, Jaya said that Shweta used to answer her back, so she had to hit her.
