Amitabh Bachchan has been leading the headlines for the past few months. Earlier, there was a lot of news about family issues in the Bachchan clan, followed by Sr. Bachchan’s hospitalisation. For the unversed, it was reported that Amitabh Bachchan was hospitalised and even underwent an angioplasty.
And now, amid the rumours, Amitabh Bachchan was spotted at the ISPL (Indian Street Premier League) Finale in Mumbai with his son, Abhishek Bachchan. Several videos and pictures from the event were shared on social media, in which Amitabh was spotted enjoying the match between Majhi Mumbai and Tigers of Kolkata. In one of the videos, the father-son duo was also seen having a conversation with Sachin Tendulkar.

After the match ended, as Amitabh Bachchan stepped out of the stadium, an array of fans gathered and started enquiring about his health. Reacting to the love the love showered by his fans, Amitabh first made a gesture with his hand, indicating that he was fine and later responded and said, ‘Fake News’.

Earlier, a report by News18 stated that Amitabh Bachchan was admitted to Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai on March 15, 2024. The report further stated that Big B had undergone angioplasty. According to hospital sources, the angioplasty was not done in the actor's heart but on his leg because of a clot.

A few days back, Amitabh Bachchan attended the star-studded pre-wedding soiree of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. The veteran actor and his family members graced the event. However, after returning from the soiree, he took to his vlog and penned down a long note to share his experience of attending the event as well as experiencing Vantara. Amitabh wrote:
“The gates of Jalsa did not open on the Sunday... but the gates of a wedding did occur... up to the location of the wedding and then back just now. It has to be said the experience was one never seen before... not just the atmosphere of the wedding, but the VanTara animal relief facility. Goodness me... what an extraordinary experience and the most scientific set up for the animals that get maltreated, to be brought here at this farm and nurtured out if habitation.”
On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan was last seen in the films, Ghoomer and Ganapath.
