Amitabh Bachchan's super hit film, Sholay is still remembered as one of the best films of his time. His friendship with Dharmendra in the movie is still considered an epitome. Recently, Amitabh Bachchan shared a shocking incident while shooting the climax scene of the 1975 film, Sholay on his quiz show, Kaun Banega Crorepati. The superstar revealed that he was almost shot by a real gun, which was fired by none other than Dharmendra.
As reported by Filmi Beat, in the latest episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati, Amitabh Bachchan was in conversation with a contestant, Preet Mohan Singh, a DIG with CRPF and a fan of Sholay. During the conversation, Amitabh revealed an incident when Dharmendra, out of irritation had fired a real shot from the gun during the climax of the film. However, the shot luckily missed Amitabh Bachchan, and he escaped the fire.

It was in the '90s when Amitabh Bachchan's name when he had a huge debt on his shoulders. In an interview with Rajshri Unplugged, Amitabh Bachchan's old friend, Aanjjan recalled the days when Amitabh's company ABCL Corporation saw a huge financial crisis, and he was on the verge of bankruptcy. Aanjjan had met Amitabh during that time and shared that Amitabh Bachchan had instantly folded his hands as he had a debt of over Rs. 90 crores. Aanjjan was quoted as saying:
"When we met him, he immediately got up with folded hands. He said, ‘I will return your money as soon as possible’. I told him ‘We have not come for that. We have come because of your accountant’s mistake. You return the money when you can, and we trust you that you will give, and that your intention is right. But in this kind of banking, don’t do transactions with other banks.’ I came back to the bank and told them not to file any suit. Slowly he returned all the money."
