On January 1, 2024, Amitabh Bachchan took to his IG handle and shared a dapper picture of himself. The actor was dressed in a white hoodie and black joggers, which he teamed with a pair of white shoes. He completed his look with cool shades as he sat on a couch. However, it was his caption that caught our attention, and it can be read as:

Amitabh Bachchan has been hosting the popular quiz show, Kaun Banega Crorepati for many years now. As the latest season of the show came to an end, the actor got emotional on the set. In one of the clips doing rounds on social media, Amitabh Bachchan was seen getting teary-eyed as he bid farewell to the show during the final episode. With folded hands, he thanked his audience and said:
“Devi aur Sajjano, ab hum jaa rahe aur kal se yeh manch ab nahi sajega. Apno se yeh keh pana ki kal se hum nahi aayenge, I don't have the courage to say these words, neither do I wish to say…Main Amitabh Bachchan iss daur ke liye, iss manch se akhri baar kehne jaa raha hu, Shubraatri.”
Amitabh Bachchan rules millions of hearts, and seeing him getting emotional was a heart-breaking moment for his fans. As soon as the video surfaced on social media, netizens started speculating if the show was coming to an end. Meanwhile, a few netizens also pointed out that Amitabh Bachchan might not host the forthcoming episodes of the next season of KBC. One user wrote, “Why is he leaving?”, while another commented, “I’m not sure but the last few episodes have been very emotional and everyone’s giving him tributes as if it’s his last.”
