Amitabh Bachchan is undoubtedly one of the most cherished gems of the Indian cinema. The stalwart, who began his career in the 1970s with films like Zanjeer, Deewar, Anand, Roti Kapada Aur Makaan, has contributed immensely to the world of cinema, and even continues to do so. At the age of 80, Big B shows his unbeatable energy and spirit of life, as he continues to outshine most of his younger peers with his talents. And now, Amitabh shared the secret behind his superfast energy at the age of 80, and gave a beautiful response on it.
Taking to his blog on August 31, 2023, Big B opened up about the much talked-about topic of the unbeatable energy he reflects during his famous quiz show, Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 15. He discussed how people are left in awe of his energy, and often ask him about the same. The actor credited it to his parents, Harivansh Rai Bachchan and Teji Bachchan for upbringing him the way that he is now. In his words:
“Yes I run onto the set of KBC .. the audience asks me why I do so .. I say I feel like doing it so I do .. they tell me we need to know the secret of your energy .. I tell them I have no secret, I was born thus, and if you need to know you shall have to ask them that created me .. and they have left for the Heavens, so how do I ask them .. they tell me we wish you to live another 500 years .. I smile .. they say yes we do .. I still smile .. they say we would never want you to change, may you remain this way all your life .. I continue to smile…”

In the continuing segment of his blog, Big B referred to an older interview of himself where he had expressed his wish to have been reborn again like the same person that he is now. Adding onto it, Amitabh mentioned that given a chance if he were to be reborn again, he wouldn’t want the countless accolades and stardom that he has received all these years. Instead, he would just like to be born as the son of his parents, Harivansh and Teji Bachchan. He mentioned:
“They say we read and saw an interview of mine where I stated that, I would wish to be born as my self again .. they say yes we also wish you to be born as AB , the .. and the accolades of expressions, giving me exalted positions pour out .. and they ask me to respond .. I smile and tell them, I do not believe in these accolades, but if I am reborn again as AB, then it would not be for what you are wishing me to be .. I wish to be born again if it happens , then as AB, the SON OF MA AND BABUJI .. !!”
In one of his earlier blogs, Amitabh Bachchan had recalled the time when he gave up the habits of smoking and drinking from his lifestyle. He revealed that due to such indulgences in his adulthood, he suffered a lot. However, after realising the damage that was already caused, he was quick to realise his mistake and rectified it soon enough. Moreover, he added that he didn’t regret his decision at all.

In one of the episodes of his show, Kaun Banega Crorepati 14, Amitabh Bachchan had opened up about the reason behind his decision to get married to his wifey, Jaya Bachchan. He revealed that he was in love with Jaya’s long hair back in the days, which appealed to him the most. He could be quoted as saying:
“Humne apni patni se byaah ek iss wajah se kiya tha kyuki unke kesh kaafi lambi the."
