Lord Krishna's love illuminated the nation on August 19, 2022. On the auspicious day of Shri Krishna Janmashtami, everyone is busy worshipping and celebrating the birth of Lord Krishna. It is one of the most popular festivals in India, and it is also celebrated in other parts of the world by the Indians. The festival is regarded as a day of love and adoration.

When everyone around the globe is enthralled by their love for little Kanha, how can our B-town remain behind? So, Bollywood stars also took to their respective social media handles to wish Janmashtami to their followers. B-town celebs like Shilpa Shetty, Abhishek Bachchan, Anushka Sharma, and others have wished their fans on their IG handles. However, the most adorable wish came from the Shahenshah of Bollywood, Amitabh Bachchan.

On August 19, 2022, Amitabh Bachchan took to his Instagram handle to wish his fans on the auspicious occasion of Janmashtami. He shared a video featuring the Janmashtami celebration sequence from his film, Khud Daar, and a similar celebration sequence from his son, Abhishek Bachchan's film, Happy New Year. The two video clips from different films looked precisely identical, and the fans were surprised to see the astonishing resemblance in both scenes. Sharing both the video clips, Amitabh Bachchan wrote:

"Aala Re Aala Govinda Aala." 

Meanwhile, soon after Big B shared the video on his Instagram handle, fans and friends from B-town flooded the comment section with adorable responses. However, what caught our attention was the reaction of Amitabh Bachchan's daughter, Shweta Bachchan Nanda. Reacting to the video, Shweta tagged her brother, Abhishek Bachchan in the comments and wrote: 

"Oh AB @bachchan, you made me laugh so much in this!!"

The video shared by Amitabh Bachchan started with a scene from his 1982 film, Khud Daar, where we can see him climbing the human pyramid to break the dahi handi, which is considered one of the essential traditions of the festival of Janmashtami. In the background, his most iconic song, Mach Gaya Shor can be heard playing. On the other side, the sequence from Junior Bachchan's film, Happy New Year showed Abhishek breaking the handi in the video.

Amitabh Bachchan is quite active on social media. He keeps sharing photos and videos with his fans. Additionally, he also often features the work dedicated to him by his fans. On August 14, 2022, Big B had shared a picture that featured an edited photo of a cracked phone on his IG handle. Sharing the photo, senior Bachchan had written:

"The creative artwork and mastery of a fan..simply amazing."
